Solid backup camera for the money, best in low light/night situations
Easy installation, camera seems very robust, but picture during the day or when it’s especially bright can become washed out or unclear. Really shines in low light and nighttime situations, however, and the clarity there really helps make up for the average quality during the day. At this price point, it’s pretty good for anyone looking to add a backup camera or replace a failing one (like I did).

Product Adaptability and
The camera looks great and was easy to install but since I was unable to hook it into my 5 pin cable I don't know what picture quality is.

When it works it’s good. But I’d rather it work all the time.
This is the second camera of the same type. I ordered the camera for my 2015 genesis coupe. Hooked it up exactly as instructed. The camera picture is perfect during the day time but at night it will not stay on. It continuously cycles on and off you can hear the click from the camera switching. So I sent back the original and they sent a second one only to have it do the same thing. The only way I can get it to stay on at night is if I put something directly in front of the camera so it sees the leds for night bouncing off the close object. I’m guessing bad batch of sensors

Backup camera
Never got it fully installed. This camera covers the state name on a Texas license plate making it illegal to use in Texas if installed this way. Returned the product.

Great camera for the money
Great product for the money...wires for power are pretty small(thin), otherwise so far all is good....

It’s ok.
It is a decent quality camera with a few limitations. The IR is very limited and when activated can cause the camera to show no picture.

Don’t use the reverse bulb to power it. The reverse bulb power should be only for the trigger wire.
If u know what ur doing and ur radio is aftermarket with a camera feature it’s easy set up. Hardest part is tapping into the reverse bulb and power. But every car is different. Little tip! The power for the camera make sure it’s “clean power” meaning don’t connect it to the reverse bulb cause it won’t work. Reverse bulb power is only for the trigger power sent to the radio.
