mailScoop Translucent and Flexible Internal Mail Collector

Am very pleased with this mailscoop, it was the best kind for my pvc door with an uneven surface because it is solid, unlike the metal basket kind which don't have a back to them and are probably only suitable for a flush door front, and you are able to stick it to the pvc door with the double sided glue strip rather than screw it on (although screws are also provided). Once a large A4 package did fly over the top and land on the floor, but generally speaking there has not been a problem and my mail drops nicely into the mailscoop and prevents my dog from getting to it. Looks ok on the door, not too obvious or ugly. Would buy again.

I thought that the item was perhaps overpriced for what it was. Essentially a piece of folded plastic. That said it did exactly what it said on the tin in that it fitted unobtrusively behind a door with limited space. It worked

A great alternative to a cage on the back of your door. Really easy to fit. It's translucent material makes it almost unnoticeable on a white pvc door and its flexibility allows the door to be opened fully without marking the wall. Our dog is not happy that he can no longer get to the mail!!3 months later we have had to admit defeat to the dog. His daily persistence with attacking the product paid off and we have had to resort to an external waterproof mail box. I still think the Mailscoop is great though and would recommend it to anyone!!

so first of all in order to make it fit on a uPVC door without any screws I had to remove a large chunk of plastic and slid it between the letter box and the door. The sticky tape that came was next to useless!so for a week or so that worked fine! well up until today when my GSDx decided to take offence to it and well pretty much just tore it to bits! not even a slight challenge from the materialI wouldn't waste time or money with this! If i hadn't have made the adjustments it'd have been returned as not fit for purpose!

Good size and weight. Great Idea as its the only one out there that does not require screwing holes on your PVC door. However I bought this Item because my dog kept chewing the mail and I didn't want to screw holes into the door of my rented property. The Self adhesive strip provided is no where near strong enough to stop the mailscoop being knocked off the door with minimal pressure. I gently knocked it by mistake on first day and it came right off. My dog had no problem pulling it off the door to get to the mail.If you dog is a chewer, this will not last very long at all. I would suspect if your dog is not a chewer, chewing your mail probably isn't an issue anyway.

I would like to return this item, after having it up for a little over a month however the return policy is very short. It was secured onto the door very firmly.I was very pleased with it initially, however my dog was not she was getting jealous of it getting the mail which she wanted to collect. The plastic did not stand up to being removed from the door by my dog its flexibility which was initially good made it easier for it to be pulled apart, as did the lettering on the front. The scoop is no longer fit for purpose.Please can the very limited return policy be looked into?

Really good + blends in better with the door. If you have a panelled door like me, you just attach a small block behind to level it out. The fixings are good too, I've had heavy parcels dropped into it and it's pretty strong. Took me 2 mins to attach.

Love this!! Catches the post so the dog doesn't & I don't have to chase him for the return of letters! Fixed with a couple of small screws so is secure. Blends better with white door & frame than old wire one & works better too as postman/woman couldn't get A4 letters in wire cage, whereas this one can. Very happy, dog not so much as his fun has been spoilt!
