Needs the right moment to plant
Next year, I'll pay closer attention to the weather patterns and planting moments to justify reinvesting.

smell good, safe for pets
I live in Las Vegas, NV and wanted to cover my dirt backyard with something more valuable than grass that I wouldn't have to grow, keep the dust controled, smell good, safe for pets, and bloom a field of flowers that attract pollinating species. It was a big experiment that I wasn't sure would be successful. Plus, I decided to plant it early summer which is more challenging to grow plants from seed due to the dry heat. After a few different attempts in figuring out how to water without a real sprinkler system (I used hoses and rotating sprinkler heads), the seedling responded well even with the sun scorching them. The phacelia did well at first but the clovers became a thick bed of green. Coneflower bloomed next in patches and white clover for a bit. Then, it went green for the rest of the summer thickening and maturing.Even with the temperatures down slightly to a max of 100 degrees, new things are beginning to emerge. Sweet clover has flowered for the first time today. Indian blanket is popping up and there are other species emerging I have yet to identify. Pollinators are starting to take notice. Mockingbirds are loving the task of controlling the caterpillar population.I'll see if I can update soon as Fall comes, crimson clover prefers to bloom in the fall, or so I read. So, I really love this blend.

The bee's like it :)
I'm on the N.E. coast, it still worked in the spring/summer here but my yard is very competitive so it had to fend for itself, I keep a mix of grass on purpose, that's how I like it, wasn't on purpose but came to like it. This product does what it's suppose to do.

Not what I expected to get, but growing super fast!
I will start by saying that the seed mix was different than what’s shown/described... but I planted it anyway and it’s doing a great job of filling in my back yard. I have poor soil and can’t get grass to grow; this germinated quickly and now my back yard is green instead of patchy weeds on bare dirt! I just scattered it by hand and gently tilled it into the soil, and watered it for a few days.

Tossed seed out on soil night before a mild rain, and we had some rain over the next few days and after a few more these had sprouted. Lovely little plants growing everywhere sown! Not as many blossoming plants as I had hoped for though.

They are seeds.
Some seeds are tiny and others much larger so the smaller ones we in the bottom of the cup I used and much harder to hand sow.

Not the seed blend advertised.
The packaging is nice and the idea is nice . . . but the description of the seeds as 40% Yellow Sweet Clover (Melilotus officinalis) 20% Crimson Clover (Trifolium incarnatum) 20% White Dutch Clover (Trifolium repens)10% Sainfoin (Onobrychis viciifolia) 5% Lacy Phacelia (Phacelia tanacetifolia) 5% Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus) is not at all what I received. The package I received has the same label as advertised but the contents are 57% sainfoin, 28% clover sweet, 5% clover crimson, 4% clover white, 3% cosmos and 2 % bluebells, so basically waaaaaaay more boring than I expected. I don't have cattle I wanted bee plants, so I don't need a sack of feed crops. There were only 3 of the advertised seeds inside, and the one listed as 40% of the contents is not even included. I got a full refund from Amazon.
