Product fit perfect and worked great!!

I was able to fix my 2011 bmw x5 50i hand brake actuator. It works perfectly. The only complaint is oem rubber piece that goes on top of the motor does not fit but I made it to work.

The vehicle for the application is a 2009 BMW X5 E70 3.5d.The good:The motor was assembled into the clean and lubricate/rebuilt OEM E-Brake Box with brand new OEM Cables (X2). Worked like a charm when tested out of the car. Worked instantly when reinstalled in car.The bad:After a month of use, the E-Brake locked up and we could not even release the manual Emergency brake. We had to ask AAA to use a flat bed since the brake stuck hard and the vehicle would not move. The tech had to remove the entire cables with the box as it would not release. The motor side has driven the shaft to far forward that it could not be disassembled with out removing the motor and the transmission.My notes to potential buyer and the seller (Developer of the product):I would not recommend to buy the unit- Development needs to to run stress test to determine MTTF and improve the reliability or it could be a dangerous situation for someone.

The motor worked as advertised. The original motor had a negative lead tab break off. I rated the replacement motor at 4 stars since it came in a Made in China box and was painted all black with no part number markings. I tested the new motor with a variable power supply and it did fine. This motor has a cooling fan built into it which is an upgrade compared to OE BMW motor. I would buy this part again as I have a spare actuator needing a motor.

Motor works like a charm, SO FAR! The rest end is not exactly the same as OE, but rubber Mount still works. Auto H and Park are all working perfectly. Let’s see how long it lasts.

No issues with fitment and plugged right in. I've had it in for about a month now without issues.
