This was just a bad purchase, stay away. First one had lens pop out immediately, so poor build quality. Second one arrived and eye relief is horrible. Even pushing it against your eye doesn't give you a proper full view when zoomed to anything beyond like 12x. At 24x the view from eyepiece is so small that useless. Even with the phone adapter, the view hole is so small when using a higher magnification that you need to use digital zoom on your phone to get a full view which pixelates it horribly. I decided to just get a real spotting scope instead. Bigger but actually useful.

When I was a little kid, I always wanted to have a telescope, because in the movies and TV shows, the general always used a telescope to check the enemy far away, which was pretty cool to me as a little kid. This telescope really brings me back to the old days, remind me of all that wonderfulness of my childhood.This telescope is indeed easy to control, I can see objects in different distance very easily. The black shell is cool and feels smooth to touch. The tripod is helpful too!

It takes a little practice to get it focused. I have a galaxy 9 in a pelican case and it won't fit in the phone holder. Out of the case it fits fine. The tripod isn't that great. The weight of the phone will top in over.

Could not bring in focus at any distance and any magnification. I am wondering what kind of QC the manufacturer has, as verifying the image clarity does not require sophisticated equipment. I liked the design, but because of time constraints I did request return without replacement.

I bought one, and it had a black mark on the inner lens. Not something that can be cleaned without taking it completely apart, so I exchanged it for another one. Next one, exact same problem. Even so, it's not that noticeable at the maximum zoom level, so I tried attaching it to my phone. Unfortunately, the attachment doesn't fit on the monocular perfectly, so everything is blurry, and all the pieces kept moving despite being tightened. This is a super cheap product with little-to-no quality assurance.

Optics are good. The telephoto feature works but there's a limited field of view. Telephoto might be good to fool around with.

Bought this for a small, inexpensive spotting scope at the pistol range. I think it will work fine. For this application, good depth of field and clarity. As expected, as power goes up, harder to hold on target, but it will work for what I intend.

It perform ok as a standalone telescope but horribly as a smartphone mounting telescope.
