So I lurked amazon for like 2 hours before I decided on these, and I’m really glad I ultimately chose them. Here’s the review I wish I could have found: The fit is exactly what I was hoping for. I’m 5’8”, around 155lbs or so, and have really thick thighs. Usually I’m stuck with a loose waistband and tight thighs, which leads to that awful V look in the crotch area. Sigh. But that doesn’t happen with these! I think the elastic band along the back keeps the tight spot from happening.I got a size large and they’re a relaxed fit (but not loose) that I can tighten a bit with the drawstring if I want. The material is the same as men’s board shorts. There is no stretch or give. But they’re comfortable and they have a mesh liner. Best part of everything though, is the deep pockets. I can fit my iPhone XR fully in the front pockets as well as the back one! They shipped fast and were a really decent price. I’ll be buying more.

I just received them. They fit as they should. I wear a 10 and got a L=10. Very comfortable. Im 5'3" and 145lbs. I like that you can wear them mid waist or lower. String tie only gives you alittle to tighten. It laces through 4 holes in the front more for secureness not smaller size. Light weight and the liner is comfortable hasn't rode up on me. But I haven't wore them swimming yet. I bought them for beach vacation. They hide all your problem areas. I got a bikini top to match. I got the black and red. would recommend to a friend.

Recieved these wonderful shorts today. Straight of the package they fit great. I am 5'3" and 135 lbs. I ordered the medium and they fit great. A little on the lose side but I prefer that. I carry most of my extra weight in the mid section. I probably could have went with a small considering the elastic waist but again like the wiggle room. At first glance great material and stitching. I will update my review after wearing in the water and running through the washer. All in all great first impression.

The reviews were a mixed bag of "buy a size up" and "fits my expected size perfectly", but leaned more toward sizing up. So, I took a chance and went a size up. It's a little looser than I'd have bought in a store, but not saggy. And with the COVID-20 I've gained, it hides some of the extra fluff. They WILL NOT fit once it get rid of the extra stuffing, but inexpensive enough to buy a smaller set later in the summer.All in all, they are great. Super comfy, soft and just enough stretch if they do fit you tighter. The only thing I'd wish for is the tie to go all the way around as the elastic on the back is loose, and I don't see these staying up in the pool. I bought for kayaking, so don't foresee this as a constant problem for me. You want to stay IN your kayak. Either way, I'm happy with my purchase and the sizing isn't so far off to be problematic.

I was replacing a name brand pair just like these that I had for too many years. I wasn't sure of the sizing, so I purchased SM and MED knowing I could return the one that did not fit. I am a size 6 in shorts and 128lbs. I liked the way the SM fit better. These are very cute, not too long and cover any problem areas nicely. They have a built in lining so you can swim in them. The tie in the front is more decorative than useful ( it doesn't tighten the waist). The inner lining is not too tight or to too loose. I bought the black with coral accents. I actually just purchased another pair ( blue with birds). Looks great with a tankini top. We go on cruises 2 times a year, we live near beaches, and have a pool so this is my go to type of swim suit.

Loved this shorts. They fit perfectly and are great for active water sports. For people like me that are a bit uncomfortable in regular swimsuits, this is a great alternative. 5'3" 115 lbs.

Overall I’m happy with these shorts. I haven’t worn them in the water yet, but I am 5’3” and 120 lbs and the XS was a perfect fit—not too tight at all. The pockets are a great addition. I’m a little disappointed because the yellow is more mustard colored than in the photo. I wish there were more color options.

They are awesome. I order a size larger. Fit is nice, love the pockets. I hate shopping for bathing suits. This way I only need a top.

A perfect fit!! I'm a size 12 (5ft 3" tall) and an amazing fit. Really comfortable and don't ride up at the front like some shorts can do! Very well made. Would highly recommend!

These came super-fast. They are a nice fit and good quality. Not had a chance to use them yet but no reason to think they won't be good :-)

Los shorts son bonitos y cubren la necesidad si los quieres para la playa PERO, la calidad de la tela no representa el costo. Creo que son muy caros para lo que ofrecen ya que el tamaño viene mas reducido de lo que deberia y el short interno puede causar un poco de rozaduras si eres de las que tipicamente desgasta los pantalones de la entre pierna. Insisto en que los shorts me gustaron pero si me sorprendio lo reducida que viene la talla. Recomendación: Pide una talla mayor a la que piensas que eres.
