Great accessory to the track saw guide. A real accurate time saver

This product is ideal for someone who lacks access to a large table saw or is on a jobsite and has to do a hundred of the same size pieces. It definitely helps to break down 4x8 sheets of material into more workable that can be easily handled on the miter saw and/or table saw.On the other end of the spectrum, it also works well to rip narrow pieces that are difficult to do on the table saw without risking a boo-boo or needing to have a specialty fence and/or specialty push sticks. I didn't really expect this to be useful for this facet, but Ive found myself using it just as much or more than the more conventional wider cuts.Still, as anyone who's built a lot of stuff for a long time, it's hard to get away from the table saw whenever possible. I just "trust" the table saw more, because it is relatively easy for the stops on this to slightly wander off of the piece without your noticing it. We're not talking much (less than an 1/8"), but face it.... you wouldn't be buying Festool stuff unless you are obsessed with quality and part of that is accuracy.So yeah, it's a good product for the target audience. Wildly expensive for what it is, but that's Festool in a nutshell. The tracksaw and tracks are also wildly overpriced and you've already presumably bought those so go for it.

Getting old is not fun and lifting large panels is hard. This addition with a Festool track saw is a must have if your table saw is to small or the panel is to big to handle. Need to know more, check it out on You Tune, I did and ordered one the same day. This package includes the extension which save money and you will need at some point anyway.
