AMAZING module!! - (Used in Acer Aspire 5739G running Windows 10 64 bit)
I popped this into an aging Acer Aspire 5739G laptop after I discovered my ancient relic supported PCIe Mini. I didnt event have to download separate drivers, when I popped this into the laptop, after a bit, Windows 10 installed the drivers for the device automatically, giving me both Wifi and Bluetooth functionality (WiFi functionality was working at boot, bluetooth worked after waiting a bit. I assume it needed to download the drivers from Windows update?). After using this for a while, (about 2 weeks) I can confidently say that this module is worth every penny. My Wifi range is great, and it has yet to drop out a single time, regardless of the access point I am connected to. I also now have bluetooth functionality without having to rely on an external usb bluetooth adapter. Some hopefully helpful info for any potential buyers looking for an upgrade who might be looking for some additional (and technical) details:I ran a speed test on speedtest.net on my home connection, and achieved 123 mbps download speed using my Asus wireless AC router. Here are the testing details:------- Access Point -------- Internet Speed: 125mbps down/15 mbps up (These are the rated speeds for my home internet)- Router: ASUS RT-AC66U (Technically it was an RT-AC66R, but they are literally the exact same router, just different SKU)- Router Firmware: Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_0------- Laptop -------- Model: Acer ASPIRE 5739G-6959- OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit------- Additional Testing details -------- Distance between laptop and access point (router): ~8 feet

Works Best with Windows 10
I bought this to upgrade my 5 year old Dell XPS-L702x Win 7 laptop to maximize my new AC dual band router. It is compatible with the laptop and works OK, but I still was not getting my ISP's maximum download rate of 50Mbs with 5GHz, regardless how far/close to the router I am or how I configure the latest Intel driver. I then replaced my HDD with a SSD and did a clean install of Windows 10 home from a .iso file. Windows installed all drivers except for the Free Fall monitor (second HDD) and the card reader. After the Win 10 install, I am now getting the full 50Mbs 5GHz downloads with no adjustments to the Intel driver. FYI, I could get at or near 50Mbs "speed test" before the Win 10 upgrade with either 2.4 or 5GHz band, but standard speed tests are not a true test of real performance. I use "testmy.net" to test my performance as they use a larger file sample. With them I was only getting 30-35Mbs 5GHz and 25-30Mbs 2.5GHz before installing Windows 10. Between the 7260 WiFi, the SSD, and Windows 10, I now have a great updated laptop that meets my needs for about $160. Better than the $1500 plus cost of a new comparable laptop.

Fit Perfectly, Very Fast, Download Drivers First
The old WLAN DW1501 network adapter in my Dell XPS X8300 desktop had become a wireless bottleneck. Today I replaced it with this 7260 and couldn't be more satisfied. Running over our Netgear 1600AC wireless router, my Xfinity internet speed jumped from 32Mbps to a sizzling 124Mbps, as fast as a wired connection! Installation notes: 1.) You'll need a fine tool such as needle-nosed pliers to reattach the two antenna wires, as they are difficult to position accurately by hand. 2.) This network card comes without installation material of any kind. Before removing your old card, be sure to have a wired ethernet connection in place, or you'll need to download the Intel drivers for the AC7260 in advance. By the way, Intel's website gave me an error 404 when I tried to find the drivers under their 7260 Support link, so just search "Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC7260" online. Via search engine, they're easily found as "Intel PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers". Just select the one that matches your version of Windows. As some of the other reviewers pointed out, two drivers are required by this card, one set for the card to function as network adapter and the second to function as a bluetooth device. (Don't make the mistake I made of installing the card first and then trying to install the drivers afterward. Windows' automatic "plug-and-play" for hardware installation only recognized the card as a bluetooth device and could not find any drivers for it as a network adapter.)

It runs better than new and my download speeds are phenomenal
I have an old HP HDX18 laptop with an N card that I upgraded to windows 10, well you can't just add this AC card on the motherboard and you're up and running. HP, in their infinite wisdom, decided not to allow internet card upgrades, you get a BIOS error the moment you turn on the computer. This irritation is well documented elsewhere on the internet. So after some research I tracked down a BIOS flash which was coded by hackers that removes this hardware restriction from the so-called HP "whitelist". I ran the BIOS flash, crossed my fingers, reinstalled the new AC card, and voila, Windows 10 instantly recognized it and installed the drivers. I was going to buy a new laptop but this old one runs so fast now, especially since I added a 1 TB SSHD Seagate drive and doubled the RAM, that I expect to keep this laptop for many years. It runs better than new and my download speeds are phenomenal. Websites which previously loaded very slowly (try scrolling through boredpanda or anything on tumblr if you want to test your internet speed) are accessible within seconds. If you're on the fence about this upgrade, it's well worth it.

Faulty Bluetooth in this device make.
There is a serious flaw in this adaptor. The wifi works but bluetooth is not recognized even in device manager, so basically no matter what drivers you install, you will not see a bluetooth device in control panel or device manager. For the bluetooth to work you need to insulate pin 51 i.e apply tape or something.Check below links[...][...][...]
