For those who know of Martins work,like his drumming this don't miss a beat,pulls no punches,Knock-out.

only problem is that the "spots" that cover some of the pages, although artuful, hide some material.However a great read from start to finish.

It is not enough to say get this book as Amazon requires a minimum amount of words. So let me make a list. Get this book because1. This guy is damn honest2. His advice is practical.3. This guy is damn honest.4. His stuff makes sense.5. Did I mention his honesty already?6. He knows how to use expletives to make his point stand out. A little something I can think to implement on my Caribbean music blog, [...].7. He is coming from real world experience which means real world solutions to real world problems.Get this book!

This book was truly written for the music industry professional! It's witty, yet loaded with valuable information that Martin so generously shares. Thank you for a book that I could not actually learn from, but have an incredibly great time doing it too!

Not a book. Close to a book.. but just a collection of thoughts.. If that's what you are looking for, this is great.. If you think this is an actual book with more than 20 words per page.. Move on.

i caint believe i read thru this so quickly! going back to re-read now... great stuff, but Martin, c'mon one ink spot blocking was fun... more is not... buy this book

What a scam. Don't waste your money...This "book" could fit on one sheet of paper. The use of 4500pt. font and crummy illustrations fill the pages of 'one-liners" that pretend to be nuggets of wisdom. The same one sentence "nuggets" repeat several times, and they aren't even what i would call advice. I was skeptical of the negative reviews, thinking they were from someone with an axe to grind...nope! Dead nuts on. Do yourself a favor and buy ANY other book the subject matter... or throw some cash out of a moving vehicle.. either would be a better investment than this trash.

You can judge this book and author by its cover. It had a few useful ideas but not enough that I didn'the feel a bit, how would they say it...

This book and Martin's other book Tour Smart are both awesome. Chock full of real world, no bs info. I've reread each a few times.
