Great buy
Very well made. One of my favorite kilts. Pockets are big and hold everything!

Stitching tore right away
Buttons did not hold up to washing very well. Pockets have all ripped and needed fixed as well as a few of the pleats. Fabric is durable. But stitching is weak. Not meant for daily use.

runs way to small in the sizing chart.
I ordered the next size up from the sizing chart. Still a inch too small. Must be using the Chinese scale of waist measurements. It is however well made. Would buy again if I knew I could get one to fit.

Make sure to carefully measure and still not fit
Make sure to measure your size around the where you wear your waist at. Then add an inch or two. Don't go by your pants size.Went by the waist measurement, he's 32 inches. Bought the 32 and it only fit if he sucked in and the front was far too tight all the way down...a bit revealing. The button covers for the black buttons also popped right off as soon as he put it on.Shipping it they didn't package it nicely so it needed a good ironing and that's a serious job with a kilt.Tried to return it but they only give you a short time frame and I couldn't get to a ups store in time. My ups driver never rings the bell so i couldn't do straight pickup and I haven't a printer. Usually they give you a longer expanse to return. So now we're stuck with a very expensive item that doesn't fit and has bright silver button spots and leaves nothing to the imagination. Bit of a letdown for a first kilt experience. So be sure to add an inch or two or just not eat when you wear it. And have polish ready for button cap pop offs cause they are a devil to find when they explode off.

Great kilt for the price. Read my review for some tips
My first kilt ever! Will be buying a kahki this summer. The sizing is small, so please save yourself the headache and use the measurement system. The belt hooks allow for a small amount of adjustment. If you get size too big you can wear a belt. But it may look weird. On the washing. Wash in COLD water. Black garments can fade, and bleed out ink in warm to hot water. Hard lesson learned. My only complaint. And it's minor is that I wish the side pockets were fastened to the kilt. As when you put anything heavy in them they will bounce when you walk or run. All in all, for the price a great deal. Shipping said was going take 4-6 weeks, I got it in two weeks. Cant wait to wear it at the paintball scenario game next weekend!

and then it fits good, so where the thing snaps is not as ...
The kilt needs to be turned so the flap beneath the front flap is more to the left, and then it fits good, so where the thing snaps is not as far to the right as my other kilt, but turning the whole thing to the left, it actually fits properly, so you have to know where to place it. When done like that, it fits comfortably, and the cotton is comfortable, as well as the point being, that turning it, you're not worried about flashing somebody while walking, so done that way, it fits just as good as my UT kilt. Measured 43.5, bought 44, and it fits nice, not tight at all, a bit looser.
