Maybe I got a weak set but after 25 weeks of ownership and arguable "heavy duty use" in a Streamlight 51046 Night Com UV LED Flashlight (recharged twice weekly, 50 dis/recharge cycles) this pair of cells has failed. FIrst they began venting something akin to acetone (similar odor), then the button (+) end began corroding. Still cheaper than 50ea of the 123a non rechragables, but far short of the advertised 2000 recharged cycles. I've purchased a replacement set... we'll see.46th week:1 of the 2 chargers I purchased (this brands bundle) died. While charging with it batteries got VERY hot to the touch. A likely cause of its and or the cells that failed. Which came first? We’ll never know. But we are dependent on the charger to prevent a bad cell runaway. And especially when it comes to rechargeable batteries we’re all in too much of a hurry. Slower (less high limit heating of the cell) is always better than faster for longer battery life.So far the 2 oldest batteries and their 2 newer buddies seem to be holding up well.I’m much more cautious about charging and closely monitor their temperature (by touch) to assure lower charging temperatures. But it’s a more time consuming task.

Expensive batteries, but working very well to power my MagLite
I use the batteries for the MagLite Mag-tac LED flashlight. I have recharged them several times and seems to be functioning as advertised. They are expensive, but I wanted something that worked well to power my expensive flashlight and so far they are a good pair. Have been using it for four months and no problem so far.

They are pretty useless. I would not buy these again since ...
These were stored in a climate controlled room for approx 2 months fully charged and now they won't charge. They just get very hot and up 1.8-2.5 volts (I tried charging the 2.5 individually so they sag back down after a few hours). They are pretty useless.I would not buy these again since they both went bad.

I ordered two sets of these batteries over a year ago. I still haven't opened the second package because the first ones are still running. I use them in a Surefire GPX flashlight, and they last about 1.5-2 weeks per charge.
