BrightLines Roof Rack Cross Bar Replacement for Nissan Murano 2003-2008

Got these for my 2006 Nissan Murano. They were a perfect fit! Not sure what the OEM ones would look like, but I have to believe that it would be these. They came with a set of shims to ensure a good fit, and I did need/use them. Other than that, they slipped right into place. Love them. Great product for the price.

I bought these racks because my wifes Murano did not have cross bars . I needed them so I could transport my standup paddle board when I did not feel like using my pickup truck . With the provided spacers the installation was easy . I pretty much ignored the instructions which made the installation appear more complex than it was . They look stock and you cannot tell that they are after market . Rod P

So I received this pretty quick and was happy to get them. The covers for the screws were really hard to get off, but that's Nissan's fault. HOWEVER, when I tried to install the bars, they DID NOT FIT. The front was an INCH TOO SHORT. And then the rear one was an INCH TOO LONG! So I took the bars apart and switched the footings. Great! Now they're the right size. So I installed the rear one fine. Then moved on to the front one. And then I discovered that the front one has MISMATCHED FOOTINGS! The size between the holes is consistent with the REAR BAR for one side. So I can install one side of the front bar, but not the other because there's too much space between the holes in the footing and the angle is off on top of that. So not only did I have to do a lot more work to put the pieces together the RIGHT WAY, in the end the front bar has the WRONG PIECES! WASTED HOURS OF MY TIME!!!!Update: contacted the seller who offered to ship a new set immediately. Received the new set and discovered that again the feet were mismatched. Between the new set and old. I put together one correct set and sent back the other parts. I guess I'm satisfied, if not happy with the amount of work disassembling and reassembling the parts to create a working whole. Added a star back for the quick response.

Easy install. So far so good. Put a large Thule luggage carrier on it. Traveled 2000 miles with it.

was un happy with fitment. using shims to make up width diff. was not preferred and still had odd angle pulling on the factory roof rails. crossbar's foot angle's were off. it gets the job done but in hind sight i would rather spent the extra and got the nissan crossbars. Made in china, just cringed while installing on a vehicle from japan.
