Bussmann BK/HKP-HH Panel Mounted Fuse Holder (Pack of 1)

As a value proposition, this is just OK. Other sellers offer essentially the same thing for much less.My thought in purchasing this at several times the price of others was that I am familiar with the brand and was hoping that for the price I was getting a heavily built and well designed fuse cart holder which would last longer than the one I was replacing on a piece of equipment which is outdoors year round.What I got was a disappointment in that it is essentially the same as the much less expensive item which failed.So my advice is, if you need a bunch of these or keep them in stock in your shop or home, don't hesitate to buy a well rated no name brand that comes 5 or 10 to the pack for the same price. I don't see any difference

Replaced failing fuse holder in a high end power amplifier. These are of a much higher quality than the cheaply made ones that were present and failing. In inspecting the fuse holder prior to installation the quality is evident. They are installed and work perfectly. I'm glad that the problem is solved once and for all.One issue I had is that I could not get the fuse holder to accept the fuse and close completely. I discovered this when test fitting the fuse prior to installation. I found that there was a tab inside the cap that had to be bent ever so slightly to allow the fuse to sink into the cap properly. It is supposed to be a tight fit but perhaps not quite this tight. I put a screwdriver into the cap and applied a little pressure to widen the opening enough that it still grabbed hold of the fuse but not so much where the fuse was loose. This was a very easy adjustment and I'm thrilled with the very high quality of the product. I only mention it as I saw another post from a while back describing the issue without a solution.

Used this part to repair a fuse blown on a circuit board in a Porter Cable 19.2 volt Battery Charger.It worked great.

Excellent replacement fuse holder for on-board and on-chassis framework installations. Also good for new projects using panel mounted fuse protection.

Does it’s job. Needed it to replace the fuse holder in my mini lathe. Worked great. Little large for the lathe but it works.
