I wanted to love this case for my mini as much as my iPad - but I don't. The iPad case is a tighter fit, and has a cutout in the back for the apple logo - this mini does not. I feel like these edges peel away a bit too easy just by gripping it. I got the pink in the iPad case for my daughter, and black for me...of course, I did buy my big case a couple of years ago so maybe materials changed since then.Regardless, this is a legit rubber case - my iPad has been tested out with falls and even tantrum throw-downs from shopping cart height without a scratch. I think this one will hold up as well, I just wish it had a tighter fit in the back and a cutout for the logo, it's much nicer looking that way, less floppy when I tap on the back of the iPad.The good thing is that the cutouts are all perfect for the buttons, with a rubber covered power and volume button. All in all, it's a great one piece cover with lots of protection on all edges for drops, even face down and up.

This case is fantastic. It is easy to put on and kid proof. I ordered this for the tablet my kids use and it was well worth the money. It is easy for them to hold- less likely to slip out of their hands. It's a fun color- they refer to it as the purple tablet. It has also prevented a few cracked screens when it has been dropped.I liked the case so much, I bought a second one for my own tablet and use even though the kids don't use it. I consider it an investment since I have dropped my own. Consider it a type of insurance on your tablet.

Bar none, this is the best case for protection. At least in our house! My children have repeated borrowed my iPad and "accidentally" dropped it, smashing the screen. This case will protect the screen from cracking on impact; however it will not keep it safe from objects being dropped on it. You do need to have a separate screen protector. So far, it has performed exceptionally well, and I plan to purchase more if we add more devices to our collection.Update May 2016: still very happy with this case, this iPad mini has been dropped so many times, and the device has never been damaged. Worth every penny! My only concern is what to do with it when the iPad mini is long outdated and obsolete. It is not recyclable.

I have spent a lot on expensive cases that cannot even come close to the protection of this case. Material used is perfect and helps the prod material used is perfect house product from not sleeping and I believe the material that is used is also animal and baby friendly so that if for some reason it is consumed it will not harm them. The baffle to push the sound from the back to the front is nice and intensifies sound.

I absolutely love this case. Here are some comments I have for it based on a month of owning it:- The bezel on the back of the case provides an ergonomic grip for the tablet.- The extra weight from the case feels negligible even during long periods of using the tablet.- I like the concave cutout for the speakers. The sound projects forward as advertised.- The material of the case feels nice.- I toss my iPad instead of gently placing it on hard surfaces because I know the case will protect it no problem.

These are the best, most durable covers out there, especially for kids. This is our second one that we have purchased. He had a different tablet before and we purchased this case and the tablet was man-handled by both my young kids and it protected it well, which is why I'm buying another one for the new tablet.

Have this in my son's mini iPad, and it has done the trick. Despite several drops, we have yet to have a screen break (knock on wood). Also, the material allows the iPad to "grip" surfaces, so the device does not, for instance, slide around the back seat of my car if he accidentally leaves it in the car.

Bought these for my daughter ipad after she damaged her first one using another case which did not do as a great job. The screen broke when she dropped it. With this case, she has dropped it a few times and it's doing a great job so far.

Good quality case made from high quality solid rubber. Fits snugly and my 5 year old loves it. Case also makes the iPad easy to hold at the edges. He hasn’t dropped it once since Christmas Day , but if he did I’m sure this would bounce and provide full protection.I’ve seen some kids cases that are HUGE and look really babyish but this case it also quite stylish.A bit pricey but should last a lifetime. A quality item.
