Baby loves it, looks great
I admit that I was a little hesitant to order this product, both due to the unusual design and the relatively high cost. However, after looking at feedback and reviews online, I'm very glad I did purchase it. The stand is made from laminated beechwood and looks great. Very modern and sleek. It is also, despite what another reviewer on here said, quite easy to assemble with the provided hex wrench. We love the clean look of it and the fact that the company responded so quickly to our questions about whether the epoxy used in the laminate was non-toxic (company representative--I think it was the owner, actually--stated that the entire product is non-toxic and that the hammock fabric is organic and neither it nor the EVA foam insert are treated with any fire retardants). Our baby seems to love it, sleeping very well. Wish we had this with our first! And unlike another commenter, we have not noticed any wobble--the legs stay firmly on the floor, even on low-pile carpeting with the baby fussing in the hammock.

Wobbles around!
This stand is beautiful and looks great in our living room, but we never use it so it was a total waste of money. Our baby LOVES hammocks and loves to be swung, rocked, and bounced. We have multiple hammocks that we use to put him in, but the best place we've found to use them has been from a hook in a large doorway. We thought the stand would be an improvement because it can be placed anywhere and it's so beautiful. However, when we hang his hammock in the stand it barely has any room to rock and when we rock it it wobbles around and the legs come up off the floor! For $380 I expected something sturdier. What a total rip-off. I'll be selling mine on craigslist :(

I so wanted to love this...
This is the only bassinet I would consider using. Problem is my LO NEVER liked this! He wouldn't nap for 5 minutes in it. He ended up co-sleeping with me and the beautiful Okoa stand with hammock was barely used. LO is now 4 months old and I have put up the MySeat. He doesn't like it either. Long sigh. This thing also requires some serious space while it's in place. I wish I would have gotten the Bloom Coco Stylewood Baby Lounger instead (although to be fair, my son wouldn't have liked it much more) but I think the portability of it would have been better. I will store Hushamok until we have baby #2 in hope that baby will have a different preference.

Hushasucks
Funny that my review never made it on Hushamok's website....so here it is again. This product needs an anchor!!!! If one little baby finger touches the hammock when you're putting your baby down, it will move with the baby and away from you, making it a pain to get your baby in without waking her/him up. It's almost a moving target. When we are successful in getting our baby in, within five minutes she shoots all body parts up like she's falling. It's huge, expensive and pretty much useless.

A must-have product if you want your baby to sleep well
There's one word to describe this thing--amazing. I wish I had one with my first baby!!The movement is so soothing, the baby drifts off to sleep with no fuss. It's larger thanIt seems in the pictures so make sure you measure first.

hard to put together
The frame is nice but instructions were terrible. I had a professional assembling all baby things including this frame. This took longer then a crib.

HushaSmuck more like
I bought the Hushamok for my second baby after a rocky experience with my first son who had both a severe plagiocephaly (flat spot on his head) and was colicky the first 10 weeks of his life. We thought if this thing did one quarter of what it promised, it would be worth the money. To bigin with, it was tricky getting him in as you hold baby with one hand and keep the hammock steady with the other. The swinging/bouncing neither put him to sleep nor calmed him when he cried. Finally, but worst of all I found him folded wadded up at the bottom of the hammock after a few hours everytime I used it. He probably spent 5 nights in it before I gave up. The only positive thing I can say about it is it does look cool and is made of sustainable/organic materials.

So good so far!
After reading all the reviews on this product my husband and I were convinced that we had to have this for our newborn. We just got it in yesterday and it is very sturdy and looks amazing! Can not wait to see how it works out for our little one when she gets here!
