Savona bathroom range cosmetic bin with swing lid, plastic, 5.5 litres

Not cheap for a small plastic waste paper bin, but it happens to be exactly what we were looking for and is modern, clean, stylish, easy to clean and hopefully won’t leak, warp, rust or otherwise lose it’s fresh look.

I bought this product and this review is my own opinion. I needed a small bin for the downstairs loo and this has fitted the bill perfectly. I didn't want a pedal bin and felt a flip top would be easier for dealing with sanitary waste. This bin is small and discreet and goes well with the bathroom decor. It looks to be good quality and is not at all cheap looking. I found a Brabantia 5L bin bag will fit inside it nicely (I didn't pull it over the top of the bin) and therefore hopefully it will be easy to empty and keep clean. I would recommend this and it comes in a good range of colours.

I like the sleek, modern design and there's a good choice of colours - we chose anthracite and it does look great in a bathroom setting. However, I agree with other reviewers that the lid closure is quite loud, and it's also quite hard to get slightly larger items such as shampoo bottles inside it as the lid doesn't actually open that far. I'd really describe it as more of a cosmetic bin - it's fine for items such as facial wipes etc but not particularly practical for other bathroom items.
