The Relaxing Sound of the Choo Choo Train

Fans of trains and railroads will either love this piece -- or hate it. Running for a little more than an hour, it appears to be a repeating loop. A seamless one, but a loop nonetheless. For example, you have a steam train moving at a constant speed of about 25 miles an hour. The speed never changes, there is no steam exhaust, never a wheel slip and never a bell or a whistle is heard. From the sound of it, it could have been recorded on the Strasburg Rail Road -- as the album cover features Pennsylvania Railroad 7002. You either know what that means or you don't. I have the mp3 album, puchased for under a dollar, so I can't fail it completely. You just have to be in the mood for what you're getting.

This recording is very soothing for sleep. It is very smooth. It feels like you are on this train.

I bought two train sounds CDs, this one and "Sleep on a Train". The latter was read and played correctly on my CD player. This one didn't, gave me a CD read error. You have been Warned!
