Nice alternative to $380. original

I have a TAG Heuer carrera twin time watch, whose watchband was so deteriorated due to sweat and weather, that I just couldn't wear the watch anymore.After contacting with TAG Heuer about a replacement, the price just shocked me. So instead of buying from them, I bought this one.The leather is made thinner and less sturdy-feeling than the original. I've replaced it by hand myself, so replacing the watchband isn't at all difficult that you would require some repairman to do. Also in the process of replacing it I managed to dig out some of the dirty material accumulated on the inner edges.I've only used this for a couple of days. Hope it will last longer than my original watchband.

I had the original TAG leather band for about a year and a half before it failed and I needed to replace it. I was not going to pay $360 for the TAG leather strap.This is a perfect fit...Look terrific!!

Excellent strap for the price, don't have to pay full price of tag original , if you like tag heuer leather you can have your strap change every 3 years the same with this brand...

I bought this one to exchange my classic tag band. It's crazy expensive if you buy directly from them. This one is a great substitute. It's a little stiffer than the original but overall nice quality!

They rejected a replacement, it does not fit into the clasps. Be carefull buying from this place.

The replacement bands arrived via mail from the UK and take a while to be delivered.So, don't be impatient: quality and fit are worth the wait. I easily transferred the clasp from the old band to the new, then attached to the watch.

Bought this when my original strap on my Carrera Twin-Time gave up after a few years of use. Having just ordered another replacement on Amazon after 2.5 years of faultless service I thought I should add my review to the other positive ones on here. Virtually identical to the strap the watch came with it's comfortable and looks great. I've had the usual jumping into the shower episodes (obviously I try not to get the leather strap wet too often) and I've often worn it when exercising so it's had more than its fair share of sweat abuse and yet it held up perfectly right until the end. For the money it's a no brainer compared to the alternative of a shop fitted official Tag strap. If you intend to fit this yourself you'll need a jewellers tool. If your looking at this product, your arguably thrifty and like to get a good deal! I am and I did. This is an excellent “alternative” to the rip off that the reassuring expensive Swiss will charge you and looks exactly like the original. My original one deteriorated through general wear and tear of general living. This one looks the part, was easy to fit on myself and has freshened up my Carrera time piece to its former glory.

Good quality product

Much cheaper than an original and only cost £2 to have fitted by our local jeweller. No problems with fitting etc. Delighted with this purchase

Good quality leather and "looks the part". Never buy a Tag replacement again!
