Just as advertised
Looks good. Works correctly. I have an iPhone X with a semi thick silicone case and the charger has no difficulty working at all. Considering buying another for another room.

Returned, defective
It overheated and warped on the first use. The pad got hot and made the phone hot. The phone was in a case, but there was no metal or anything on or near the pad. I was able to return for a full refund.

Overheated and didn't charge
I had to return this charger because It couldn't charge my S8 through a case. It would say that it was charging and then overheat and stop charging and my phone would die overnight.

Works, but the phone has to be removed from the otter box protective case.

Do not buy this item
I bought 2, for different locations in my house. Neither one worked. My phone battery actually lost power and drained down to 0%, on these useless wooden pucks. I'd give it zero stars if I could but that's too Zen for me. I won't be sending mine back. I will be throwing mine into the garbage. My only good feeling about this purchase.

Worst charger I ever bought. It overheated with first charge out of the package, causing the back of my phone to overheat as well. Charging cords that were in the package also overheated during charging period
