IRON Pro 2 Combination water softener iron filter Fleck 5600SXT digital metered valve for whole house (48,000 Grains, Almond)

its been two months since i installed the iron pro 2, 48000 grain water softener.we are on well water in west central florida. the iron in our water has been a problem untill now. in just two days after installing the iron pro 2 we saw the difference.no more stains in the toilets or shower.the water is soft and bath soap lathers up quickly leaving us feeling clean and fresh. i have the automatic recharge time set at 12 days and this unit is using less salt than my ten year old kenmore unit did. set up was easy using the supplied information.also when the power goes out the iron pro doesnt loose time.no need to reset.i am pleased with this product.

Worked well for about 6 months, now I need to take apart the injector assembly every month to clean it otherwise the brine tank fills up with water. My old water softener lasted 12 years and only required a yearly cleaning of the injector assembly. That being said the system does work, its just a lot more maintenance that I had expected based on previous experiences with water softeners.

Hard water deposits in sink and shower were beginning to be a problem. I hired a plumber to install as I had pex lines and lack of tools and he was done in an hour start to finish only charged me 150.00 so well worth it.

Changes water taste in a big way but restricts flow in a big way also.

Works great even with Rusty water I would recommend this product

We have a heavy iron problem. The water would be light orange to red. After installing iron pro 2 we've not had any problems.

Easy to install

Brine tank holds a lot of salt. Easy to install.Still early but seems to help a lot as a rust remover.
