Transformers Optimus Prime G1 Reissue

My son has been binge watching the original Transformers series and I wanted to surprise him with the toys that I grew up collecting. He loved it! Also got a G1 Bumblebee and Soundwave.The Bumblebee is small but to scale compared to the Optimus Prime. Very cool. Prime is pretty durable, but keep in mind there are a lot of little joints that can break during transformation that younger kids may not observe. Care and following the directions is ke!

The color of red on this classic is my absolute favorite color of red. The tires are made of rubber,and actually have tread. The silver line painted on it was well done. As for the price$ you are going to have to spend little more money than on most toys because these are classic g1 transformers Evan if they are reissues. If we didn’t have to spend so much I would get them all. There are 2 issues though.1: There is nothing special about the box it comes in.2: I can see were a person could have problems with the legs wanting to bend in truck mode after a lot of use.

Just as good as the original one I had as kid! Just wish it came with the cab.

Other Optimus models make you pay for the trailer...and roller...and you don't really want those. You want the original, G1, old school version of Optimus, without having to pay for a bunch of other stuff.Just the truck - awesome product!

He's really into the G1 old-school stuff and was quite pleased Christmas morn. Build quality is great. Nice and sturdy. Gotta thank the manufacturer and seller for making this available.

It does not transform properly. Every time we transform the legs, they popped back up, instead of staying in the same position. It is not worthy for this price. Is there a way to fix this? Or We should receive a refund?

If on quality alone, this reissue of G1 Optimus Prime is incredible with its longer smoke stacks, improved fists, comes with two rifles, and just looks great. But because of how much it is selling for, I can't say this is a good product. You are paying way too much for only half of what makes Optimus Prime. Without the trailer, this reissue should be $30 tops. You can find this at Walmart and they want $50 for it, and that's too much, and whomever decided to make that the MSRP really dropped the ball because they are currently warming the shelves at my local WM because no one wants to pay that much for just the cab. Wait, and it will most likely go on clearance just like the G1 Hot Rod release did in most stores. Bring this item down to $30 and it will be a great release. Keep charging more than that for it, and it really is a rip-off.

Was just like I remember as a kid, I’m 49 now and buying toys I never had 😂

I brought this for my "action ornament" collector partner he loved it said it was the same one he got when he was a little boy to me it's a toy its transformers it's very metal I mean I cant imagen kids playing with it if they throw it to someone can do damage.

Product was supposed to be new but box looks like it’s used with scuffs and peeling. I’ve attached pics. Was disappointed with the condition but ultimately choose to keep the product as it was brought for my son.

Bought this for my son who loves Prime. It's a great toy, almost exactly like the original I had 30-odd years ago, but it's already failing. The legs won't stay transformed and keep popping back into truck mode. You can see that part of the plastic need to hold it in place has already worn away.He's still enjoying playing with it but it won't last once he realises it's actually broken.

Amazing, exactly like I remember him. The transformation is simple and fun, only a few steps. My 2 gripes are the high price & one of the decals didn't stick 100% properly. This is still a 5 star for me, easily one of the best figurines in existence. The design is excellent overall and sturdy, just like the old model back in the day. Super happy to have acquired him.
