Anything about the Dave Matthews Band is very cool. This book is no different.It is a good read for any DMB fan that gives interesting history and goes into the band losing a key member.

I purchased 3 copies of this biography-esque account of the Dave Matthews Band. Two of my college girl friends and I have been attending DMB shows for those twenty years. Although our drunken-college-days are well behind us, and we each have moved into motherhood and live in different states, we continue the tradition of getting together and reliving those glorious years. This was the perfect gift to share with my fellow DMB girls. Van Noy's stories are on point and entertaining. I easily related to her as a fellow fan. The book also included several photos of band members over the years. Recommended for the DMB die-hard.

I was hoping that this might be more insightful in to the band and it’s members. It’s really just a book of one fan’s experiences which might be interesting to some. Having been to quite a few DMB shows myself I guess I am less interested in another fan’s take than I am the inner workings of the band and this book misses that mark for me. Not a bad book. Just not what I was hoping for.

Bought for my wife for christmas, and she loved it. Unfortunately for her, I also loved it. Being huge DMB fans it is awesome to read, feel, and share a common bond with so many others out there. DMB fans can definately relate and what better way to relive some of those feelings and journeys thru Nikki Van Noys book. Thank You

This was a great book for any DMB fan!! Written by a fan and including stories from the fans. DMB is a phenomenal band and that they've been touring now 20 plus years is amazing. I devoured this book in a few days... very engaging, especially for the DMB fan!!

A selection of anecdotes which could have been trawled from official sites, plus a bit of Wikipedia. No attempt to delve into major events in the band's history (why did Butch Taylor leave, what was the cause of Roi's death actually, what happened in Charlottesville that meant that Lillywhite was replaced) etc. Large print and widely spaced lines, not one interview with any band member, just not very good. If you are new to DMB and want to learn more about them, this is not the palce to start.

This book is mostly meant for existing fans. It gives more of a bio of the fanbase itself, its relationship with the band, and how it has changed with the band, as opposed to a bio of the band itself. For this reason, there are sections that get redundant.Overall a quick and enjoyable read.
