⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong, reliable adhesive that does the job
This Gorilla Contact Adhesive worked exactly as expected. It provides a strong bond, dries clear, and was easy to apply. It doesnt stick as quickly as it says!!!
I bought this to repair an ear that had snapped off a table lamp with Hares on it, one of the ears had been knocked off, so I only needed a small amount, but had to buy a huge tube!I chose this as it said super strong and sticks within seconds.So, I put the glue on both sides of the break, let it dry a little then held in place and waited for it to stick, I pressed the 2 parts together for about 2 mins, and it still slid off.I let it dry a bit more, and pressed again, it kind of held but then still started to move.Not really impressed.The next day I took most of the old glue off, started again, and pressed in place for a few mins and left it alone, it kind of stuck and you could still move it a little even after 24 hours.After several days it finally stuck firm and cured.Not sure what it is like on anything else but it took ages to stick on a resin type made lamp.

Great glue if you know how to use it...
It's astonishing how many bad reviews this glue gets... by people who don't know how to use it! Just read the damned instructions. You have to apply the glue to both surfaces, wait for about 2 minutes, then press the surfaces together, then wait 24h, not press the surfaces together right away.The glue is great, it's really strong... if you know how to use it (which is written on the packaging AND on the tube of glue...). This review section is another reason why I have lost all faith in humanity...
