Bulova Accutron Gemini Men's Automatic Watch 63B012

I wanted a Swiss Made automatic, as well something dressier than the other automatics I have. Most Swiss Made automatics are very pricey. A work colleague pointed out Bulova as a good affordable watch. I found the Accutron Gemini with GMT / second time zone and complications on Amazon (from Bidfortime) for less than half MSRP. Most other places on the web discounted it maybe 10% – 15%. The watch came new in box, with tags, and warrantee cards, as advertised. Shipping was prompt and arrived before the estimated date.I am very pleased with this watch. It is very nice looking and accurate to within 4 seconds / day. It has all the right features, with anti-reflective Safire crystal, ETA movement, leather band with deployment clasp, water resistance to 50 m and exhibition back. I feel the styling and craftsmanship is right where you would expect for an affordable Swiss Made / “luxury” watch. The second time zone is actually tied to the hour hand, so if you change the hour while traveling, you would have to set the 24 hour pointer back to your home time zone separately. Not an issue for me, I bought it because it is cool, my cell phone has the world clock.I am not clear if Bulova will accept the warrantee or not. I suspect not, as the warrantee card is not endorsed by an authorized Accutron dealer. The other sellers at much closer to retail all pointed out that they were authorized dealers or offered their own multi-year warrantee.

The watch appearance is luxury and classic. It is an excellent watch for a formal attire shoving elegance without opulence - discrete and still noticeable. As well, ACCUTRON mechanical devices are very well rated .

If you're looking for a flashy watch, walk away. This watch is the perfect size, perfect weight, nice, everyday watch. I bought it because I wanted something a bit nicer than your everyday beat-up watch and wanted to try a different material on the strap (all my other watches are metal). I love it! I wear it everyday! The movement isn't too loud and the constantly sweeping hand makes it look super sharp. I cant find enough good things to say about this watch. If you catch yourself working in two different time zones, this is your pick.
