Love this little gadget! I have a terrible time holding onto picks. I don't hold them correctly, but when I force myself to hold them properly, I can't play as well. I had been actually putting a glue dot on my picks to prevent them from slipping, but this was far from an ideal solution. The pix max allows me to hold the pick my way without any slippage, and I can also easily hold them the "correct" way to start getting used to that method as well during practices. It's now the only pick I use. I am an adult female but I have very small hands, even for a woman, so I ordered the small size. It fits about right, although I would probably be even better off with an extra small, but they don't make them!

Kinda clunky in the hand. Less precision than a regular pick.

If only you could use your pick of preference on this it would be nice but you're stuck to whatever they send you attached to it. The idea is not entirely bad but to me it feels like I'm using crutches or teeth braces, it just feels weird. I thought it would help me with a better grip but I found it hard to get used to. I think a design that allows you to be more flexible and versatile in finding the right position of your hand and the pick, instead of making it a fixed alternative, would yield better results.

I like it but my intended need is not actually met by it. I was expecting it to ease my CTS. The manufacturer claimed it worked for some people. Not so much for me but I still find it makes keeping a grip on the pick easier which may be of some help to my hand and definitely stops that too tight of a grip that I often have on the pick. The other problem for everyone is that the contour has to work for you. I bought a small one and a regular sized one. I am actually in between the two. I can work with either but you may find one or the other, or neither, fits your hand the way you want.
