Textiles Plus 7-Piece Micro Suede Patchwork Bed-in-a-Bag Comforter Set, Queen, Brown/White

This set looks just like the picture and feels nice. My complaint is that the measurements are off. My daughter has a very thick mattress so I measured and went by the description to see if it would cover the mattress. It is about 4 inches shy of covering the mattress. That's why I give it 4 stars. I've read some reviews about it not holding up after washing but I have not washed it yet. If I have any problems I will update this review. My daughter loves the way it looks and feels and doesn't care that her sheets show. She's 18 and not much bothers her.

We bought this for my son when he turned 12 and got a queen-sized bed. It is absolutely wonderful to feel, very soft - and the fabric is his favorite. The style is nice, too. It's a bit warm for him, but he really wanted microsuede, which is usually a bit warm. There are throw pillows and shams that make it even more attractive, and it is comfortable.The problem started almost immediately, though, with little strings starting to come loose on top of the bed cover. Each 'square' in the pattern is connected to each other square with a deep-set thread - and the threads are coming loose everywhere. We paid $116 - and I see it's now on sale for $40 less than that. I would pay $75, probably, but not much more than that. It's a nice set, but because of the threads coming loose, we'll have to replace it long before he goes to college.

Before I made the purchase I read the reviews very thoroughly. I was hesitant because of how many negative comments it had but I was in love with the colors so I went for it anyway. The only 2 negative things about it are 1. The stitching is not centered on all the squares on the quilt. It's not a good buy for nit picky customers. It looks like the stitching will come off if it's put in the washer. So I will prob steam clean it instead and 2. it carries a lot of static electricity. ALOT. So have dryer sheets handy. Other than those issues I don't regret buying it.

I'm surprised at how many bad reviews there are on this. People are just too picky. The colors on this are gorgeous (and true to the picture) and it's so soft. We wanted something somewhat traditional/rustic/cozy but not covered in tacky patterns, which is what I found a lot of. This is perfect. It's not overly-thick but still very warm. I will say, it was very wrinkled when I took it out of the bag and I saw a lot of complaints about that, but once it's washed/dried it goes away. Who puts it right on the bed from the bag anyways? Like I said, don't let the bad reviews turn you away like it almost did me. SO happy we bought this one.

Looks very nice but I am not the biggest fan of the material. When I sleep, I don't cover with sheets, only the comforter so the feel of the material is important to me. It is not bad, just not great. As far of the looks go, I'd give it 5 stars. Looks just like the picture. I drop 1 star for the feel.

I ordered this set because it boasted bright colors with added extra pillows. It comes with two pillowcase covers and 3 small decorative pillows. A good weight, generously sized comforter with great color and design. The bedskirt fit nicely also. My only complaint was that the small brown pillow's seams ripped after lounging on my bed for about an hour. I would reccomend if you like brown.

I love the fact that this set is very warm, I gave 4 stars only because of the threading on the blanket is a pretty bad job but other than that it's almost the same as the picture (a bit lumpy) I had to dry it to try and get some of the lumps out!

I don't even like giving this 1 star because it doesn't deserve it. I wouldn't have paid $5 for this comforter set if I knew it was as bad as it is. Where to start?? The pillow shams are made as cheaply as the comforter and the batting has nothing covering it inside so it would be impossible to wash this because it would fall completely apart. The comforter itself isn't any better. I took it out of the bag and when I was placing it on the bed I noticed the stuffing is bunched up in certain places (mostly in the corners) leaving the rest of the comforter with nothing at all in it. I tried to redistribute to no avail. There's no way I can wash it either because it will only get worse and the stitching is a joke. This comforter set is anything but comfortable. Epic fail. I cut the comforter up, restuffed and stitched and made a dog bed out of it. It's the best this comforter will ever look.
