Yes it is a heat source. No, that is not a problem come Oregon winter. It is 15 pounds so it doesn't move around while you sleep. Doesn't slip to the floor with your movement in sleep. I wake easy, noisy neighbors, animals, worry over money, life...Since putting this on my bed, I wake but fall back to sleep quicker. I'm sleeping now, I just wasn't.So this blanket is saving lives from this sleep deprived and very grumpy woman. 😊

I purchased this blanket as a gift to my mom. She really love it. First, it’s ready to use, I don’t need buy a duvet cover. Second, I bought 12lb twin size, the weight is perfect for her. She has depression and anxious, most time she wake up many times throughout the night. After using this product almost week, her sleeping problems have been improved a lot. She felt more safe, and easier fall asleep. She said the product is way too beyond her expectations. My mom is a picky person. If she said yes to this blanket, I think you should have a try.

This blanket is so nice!!! I tend to get cold easily at night and everyone else likes to keep the house cool, so I needed a big heavy blanky to crawl under when I’m freezing. I really didn’t expect the material to be this soft. The weight is really evenly distributed, like it’s sewn into place and will not bunch up over time. I like that the case it came in is reusable for storage too during the hottest parts of summer when it will go under the bed.

I really like this blanket. It's heavy, but it's not hot. However, I'm 220 lbs and I got a 20 lb blanket (the description said to aim for 10% of your bodyweight). It's a little too heavy sometimes, but if I put nothing on top of it, just a sheet and the weighted blanket, it's pretty good. I would just like to be able to put a comforter over it for appearance and to keep the weighted blanket clean. Anyways, I would recommend it. Was it worth $100? Probably, yes, considering other blankets are $40-50 and comforters are $100+.

It has been a week so I will update if my feelings towards this blanket change. But what I thought would just be a crazy shot in the dark (based on the research I have read and not really knowing how weighted blankets could work) quickly changed my mind.Doesn’t take more then 5 mins to start feeling more relaxed. It is easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.It does take sometime to get used to especially when you turn over at night. Still shocked how this blanket doesn’t get hot at night. Live in Phoenix so only one hell fire summer will truly tell.I would recommend this blanket.Just don’t expect it to fall down the sides of your mattress it is just to cover the top of your mattress not the whole damn thing.

I was sceptical of the advertised product, but curious about it claim, since I bought one. Love it. I only get 5-6 hours of sleep during the week and need every minute to count and this blanket helps me fall into a deeper, more restful sleep. I also noticed when I get up in the AM, I don't feel stiff or sore.

I love this blanket. I sleep better i wake up feeling more refreshed. It is kind of heavy but it makes me feel comforted. Needs to be cooling with the hot weather coming but i still love this blanket. I sleep with it every night

I am happy with this blanket.Helps me relax.Everyone in the house likes to use it.Covers full body.I do shake it about to redistribute the beads so they don't collect in one area.I use this while relaxing on the couch.I do not sleep with it.It is heavy as expected.
