Great upgrade for Mk6 Golf
I never write reviews! But I feel this product deserves more praise, it is fantastic value for money!I'm using a 2009 MK6 Golf with the factory RCD310 stereo. Everything works perfectly, I don't have to think about it at all: my iPhone connects very quickly after turning on the ignition (with a cheerful boop-beep through the stereo) and I have found, after adjusting the volume levels, the audio quality is vastly superior to using my 3.5mm adapter and AUX cable.Set up is perhaps a little daunting if you aren't tech-savvy – no instructions or documentation provided, just a black box in a plastic bag – but if you are familiar with pairing bluetooth devices it is a breeze. Just be aware that the device name can be something random or with a Chinese sounding name. (On an iPhone you can easily edit this.)I now listen to a lot more music (with the help of Siri) while driving, as before I hated the sight of many cables and having to plug in adapters etc for short journeys. As other reviewers have mentioned there is no microphone so it doesn't handle calls, so this is primarily for music/radio/podcasts/GPS audio

Should have trusted the reviews.
Bought product even after reading the reviews as combability mentioned in description fitted perfectly with my car. Recieved device in tampered with plastic package (suggesting it was not new) and when i tried to install the device the device showed no sign of working. Light on the device didn't appear and no sign of any bluetooth signal being given off. Don't recommend.

Does the job!
Bought this for my VW Passat 2010, which has no Bluetooth or Aux input. Connects my phone to the car stereo as soon as the key is in the ignition automatically. No connection issues or anything. Very straight forward and simple, just plug in and connect via Bluetooth ones. Very pleased and would definitely recommend it.

Cheap and cheerful
Great value for money. Only downside is it does not auto disconnect when the car is turned off

Doesn’t work
Used it twice and it’s stopped working. There was a slight pop and now it connects fine but doesn’t put anything through the speakers. Not worth it

Need Help! Worked then stopped?!
This worked perfectly the first time I installed & setup. It was left connected to the AMI port, as the description suggests can be done. Upon starting up the car again a message appeared saying that the MMI system could no longer recognise the device, and it no longer appears as connected in the Media menu (AMI socket). Blue light on the unit still lights up and my phone still finds the device. Ideas & solutions welcomed - reluctant to return and try again because I'm guessing the same thing would happen again?

No music only calls via established Bluetooth between Audi A5 2012 and iPhone 12
Plugged in, paired with Audi A5 2011 with iPhone 12, phone and car show Bluetooth connected, ok only for calls, no music able to be transmitted via connection.Any advice? Thanks
