Easy install and powerful pump
Perfect fit, easy to install and powerful pump flow. It will sound louder than your old pump, but that’s a result of it being new and just needs some burn in time. Well built.

I am the pumpmaster
My Hotpoint washing machine quit draining so because I’m a highly valuable, breedable mate, I immediately knew the pump needed replaced. Ordered this pump, laid my machine on her back, got up inside her like a gentleman, replaced the pump, and now she sucks the fluid out like Adriana Chechik. Personally I’d give my repair skills 10 stars but Amazon doesn’t give that option. This pump is a solid buy though.

Not the GE OEM Hanning pump
Even though its advertised as such, the pump is not labeled with Hanning, and is not the OEM that it claims to be. If I had known, I would've saved the 10 bucks and gone with one of the other generic compatible units being sold on here. Outside of that, it works as expected and install was easy.Bare in mind there are two models that are often listed interchangeably. One of them, the power plug is staggered, while the other they are in a line. Make sure you check your original pump to ensure you ordered the right one.

GE Washer Leaving Clothes Sopping Wet
I have a GE Washer WWSE5240G0WW that will go thru the entire wash cycle, however once I pull the clothes out they are sopping wet, which then requires that I use the dryer for a longer period of time. Thedrain pump seemed like the most likely/affordable fix, but I'm still not 100% sold. Other possible solutions could be the control board and/or motor/inverter assembly, however those are on the pricier side of the fixes. After I installed the drain pump, which took roughly 20-30 mins (beware the hoses that are connected to it will disperse plenty of water, recommend having a towel underneath to absorb the water). Gave the washer a go and clothes were still sopping wet...hmmmm. I read somewhere as I was contemplating buying this part to fix my washer issue, that they had a similar issue and it didn't fix the problem right away, almost as if the machine had to reset itself/self-calibrate to the new drain pump, which it then began to work and their clothes were no longer sopping wet. I washed a 2nd load, and waalaa the clothes were no longer sopping wet. The 3rd load, gtg. Skipped a few days, and did some more loads and it was hit or miss, some were sopping wet, while others were normal/not sopping wet. Washed 2 loads about a week later and both came out normal/not sopping wet. If the next loads come out normal/not sopping wet, then I'll call this fix a success!

Perfect
Mine went out, swapped it with this one and not a problem since, been 6 months. Waited that long for review to see if worked for a long period

It’s worked
Dryer runs now, but my husband did have to conform it to fit our dryer model.
