I purchased these and the 9 light competitor. Both emulate the flashing behavior of real lightning bugs very well. I placed both sets relatively close, so I could compare. These blended in with the real live fireflies, it was hard to tell, other than the flying part (i put them on/in a tall topiary form, and let a few dangle inside, the breeze catches them, simulating movement. Gorgeous!). I did the same with the 9 light competitor. Same result, lovely movement. The only difference, other than the number, is you can almost see the 9 light from space!I moved them to a corner of our yard that has a street light, and now they can fight for who is brightest! Moving them made them wonderful, but I would not buy the 9-light again. These? I would subscribe to them if I could! I never don’t want to have them in my life. One more note: we had some wild storms go through, and these are just like new. Very well put together. Props to the person who came up with the product design.

These lights are actually really nice. My first time buying firefly lights, was from from Firefly Magic which just happens to be the bomb! Best solar lights you can buy. So when I saw these I thought I'd give them a try. They work really well for what I wanted. Bought a second pair. Firefly Magic isn't really selling the solar ones anymore. Mine are still going strong 4 plus years now haven't even changed out the batteries yet. But I know I will have to for these, but that's ok. I always keep solar batteries on hand. I'm kind of a solar junkie, I love solar lights in my yard! And I am very much enjoying these in my from yard in my potted palms. I would definitely recommend these firefly lights.

They were nice while they lasted..... for only 3 days! What a disappointment. I was hoping to get years out of these as they were nice to have in my garden.

Answer: At least 3 strands for a 4 cubic foot area. That's $60. The idea is very cool. I have mine dispersed in a small bush. It's not really obvious they are there because one strand isn't enough. I wouldn't have paid $60 or more for a better result.I recommend waiting until this technology can be produced at a better price.

Great firefly lights. Got them for my wife and i thought they where a long strip of lights. Wanted to put them along the fence line but better use for a small brush or shrub.

Works as described, very happy with product

I am a firefly addict so I wanted to give these a try, and I really like them. They don't flash at the right frequency to fool the local fireflies, but they light up my evenings anyway. Only problem is, the squirrels seem to like to chew on the wires. Other than that, they are pretty durable and hold their charge a long time. I don't think I have tried the remote, so I can't rate that. I am not sure what the reviewers want with "thickness" - doesn't seem relevant to me. Wire thickness ? Not sure.

These little firefly lights are just wonderful. Twinkling away in the dark. A must for any garden.

Zwei Sterne für die schnelle Lieferung, ich habe mich tierisch gefreut, dass ich endlich LEDs gefunden habe, die wie Glühwürmchen leuchten sollen, und dann noch mit Solar!!!Ich habe die Batterien vier Tage geladen, aber leider tut sich nichts, die Lichter bleiben aus und ich muss es leider reklamieren, habe aber noch keinen Weg gefunden wie. Bei den Bestellungen steht noch nichts bei.
