SW Woodcraft Wooden Chess Backgammon Set - Handcrafted from Walnut with carved details 35 x 35 CM

Backgommon pieces are too small.And there are fabric under the backgommon pieces which has the same color of the darker pieces. I mean I’ve never seen backgommon pieces have that kind of fabric glued underneath, it look awkward and wrong.Lastly the chess and backgommon pieces comes with some plastic bags. They are very dusty. Made me think if the set was used before.

Overall I am happy with the chess and the pieces which in my opinion are of the right size. I was a bit sceptical about the carvings but in person the whole board looks very beautiful. The pieces come in plastic bags that can be stored inside the chess and locked with two latches. It looks like the veneer has been crafted by waving in different wood types to create the final product.

It appears to be very well made.bought for grandsons birthday he was thrilled everything was made to a high specification .

good quality but the chess and tge backgammon pieces are pretty small......maybe one size bigger would be the best.

Received my chess set today and could not be happier. Very good quality and can see the craftsmanship that has gone into it. I would highly recommended this product.

Board arrived quickly and is of excellent quality and size. It has nice wooden chess pieces and smooth finish. Would definitely recommend for the price.

I bought this set as a gift and the recipient loved it. I feel this set is a great value for money as you get an actual veneer made from real walnut as opposed to stained/burned on some cheaper sets. I am impressed by the craftsmanship overall including the wood carvings which look even better in person.
