If you believe that seeing pictures and visions of your wishes, goals, desires everyday is going to get you there, well ... that's your view of things. I'm a skeptic but I found that this book has a lot of help hints, ideas on how to live your life, how to make your life better. It makes a great workbook, you can write in ideas as you go along. If you want to create vision boards, this is a great primer. Actually it is what "Pinterest" was before the internet became the in thing. I'd recommend this book. In fact I bought a copy for my young niece.

This is a great book! It actually inspired me to create my own vision boards and gave me some great tips on making them with different themes. It's filled with great information and also photos of various vision board that people have done.

Informative and easy to undestand

They show there is no right or wrong board.This book can be read many times and each time you will find a new tidbit and piece of wisdom calling out to you. This is a definite addition for the "self-help" or "self-discovery" bookshelf.

I am looking forward to starting my vision board & this book has great action steps! The only thing that slightly irritated me was toward the end of the book it seemed to be more about promoting others & less about building your vision board. It's not a big deal, it's not overwhelming, it's just a thought that flowed through my head for a moment... GREAT BOOK & definitely recommend to anyone interested in doing solid vision boards... There's good resources, too (hinge the promoting)... I would like to know if she ever produced a workbook to go along with the book.... she briefly mentioned it toward the end of the book...

Wonderful book.I was not sure about getting this book for so many can be lame or just the side of the author.this one im happy to say is not like that..though there are lots of very creative pictures...there is fill in the blanks for oneself..not what i expected..if you can only get one book this is the only one youl need..

I bought this book, primarily because, as a musician, I regularly either buy a book about creativity, or try to learn a newskill, or craft, like dowsing, or cooking a different type of meal. Creative mixing is what keeps my lyric-writing fresh...Joyce Schwarz' book was inspirational, colourful, down-to-earth with fantastic advice, and many different stories of people who used vision boards, and their results. I was so impressed with the different styles of vision boards, and realised thatanything goes, when you make your own. The chapters are well laid-out, and the typeface is easy to read.I'm still in the prep phase, but this is the most fun I've had in a few months! Vision boards can be used for anything; projects, family activities, cosmic ordering, or even wedding planning.There are numerous websites to check out, but at the moment,I have yet to see the website connected to the book,[...].I'd recommend this book, and I am so grateful Joyce took the time to write this book.
