Well made, engaging and fun toy
This seems like a well made toy. It's very engaging and fun. I like that there's a large variety of images, as opposed to the usual 4-5 large images that are all of the same theme (dinosaurs, farm animals, etc.) These are all things a child is likely to encounter in their life so they're easily recognizable, and offer a welcome variety from the usual worn out themes (said dinosaurs, farm animals, etc.) The pieces are easy to manipulate and the knobs are easy to hold by small hands. It says the recommended age is 2-3 years, but at 19 months my daughter took to it right away and really loved it. She could name all the objects and fit the pieces in by herself, then delight in dumping them on the floor and starting over. She has been playing with it for several months now and still really enjoys it. Unlike some of the blockier, more similar shapes of other such puzzles, on this one the shapes are cut very close to the outline of the picture and have enough detail that my daughter can tell what they are even when they've fallen upside down and the picture isn't visible. That adds another dimension of fun to the game - to ask her which is which, and she tells me proudly just from the shape. There's only one thing I don't like about this board, and it's just a quality control issue. Our board isn't straight, but slightly warped, so it wobbles when you put it on a flat surface like a table. It's less noticeable on the rug. It's not too bad, but I wish it was actually straight.

Great quality
I went on a puzzle shopping spree-researching all the age appropriate puzzles for my 14 month old. I purchased 6 puzzles during this time and I have to say this is the BEST quality! I wish I could use animated text or an emoticon that's jumping around! I was not expecting this quality-the detail of the pictures, the quality of the printing method, the quality of the wood and the quality of the jigsaw cutting. Melissa & Doug didn't even have this quality AT ALL! THAT puzzle even has shards of wood sticking out I'm afraid of my son getting splinters! I am positive this puzzle will out last all the rest. The other puzzles are already showing wear on the pictures at the edges of the pieces-it's only been a few months! Also, the peices are thick enough that my son can stand them up-multi use toy :) I love it :)

High quality, absorbing puzzle
Well-made, attractive, plenty of pieces--my 2½ yr. old granddaughter was immediately absorbed when she opened it Christmas morning. It kept her full attention for a long time, even while her siblings opened presents around her.As I watched her with the puzzle, I wished that I had purchased more similar puzzles for her from this same manufacturer.I highly recommend this puzzle!

I wouldn't recommend a child chew on the pieces, but it has held up to the occasional "taste" by a toddler
I like the colorful shapes. The best part about this puzzle is that the pieces are printed or painted instead of cheap stickers that come off if a toddler bites a piece or two.

I love this puzzle...
This puzzle is made with quality materials and looks good! It's one of the few that offers 15 pieces. Many kids have enjoyed and most moms have inquired about where to purchase. Each picture piece is easily recognizable by children and encourages them to say each picture word. I often use it in speech therapy and highly recommend it.

Great multi use educational toy!
My 2 year old grandson likes this puzzle a lot. He's really just beginning to talk and asks to me to say the name of each puzzle piece as he holds it up in the air. I can see him struggling to figure out how to say the name of each of the 15 toys.

She's smart and will learn them eventually
My baby likes her puzzle. And she already figured out where to put them and fix them if they don't fit. She's 2 yrs old. I want to get her ABCs and 123 puzzles as well. Still teaching her the names for them. She's smart and will learn them eventually.

This is a must-have toy for your toddler!
At one year old my son was able to match every piece in its place. At two he is able to say (if not clearly, in his language only I can understand) the name of every object. This puzzle is extraordinary: educational, fun, bright colors, well-made pieces ( no sharp edges, no cuts from wood, etc).I sincerely recommend it.
