Mildly misleading
This product description should remove the bit about "light sanding," because without a powertool, this is an absolute chore. Also, even before gluing, when dry fitting the parts, the two hemispheres leave a gap.Would be nice for OP to include suggestions on materials to use to flush the gap. Also would be nice of them to suggest what paints to use. And I would have easily paid extra for this to come sanded and assembled. This takes a lot more skill than it leads you to believe.

Definitely more then light sanding but still a good results.
Turned out really nice. Was a gift and they really liked it. Was definitely more then a bit of light sanding. But over all I am happy with the end result.

Sphere is shipped as two separate hemispheres. Misleading.
