 Been a long time since I looked into actually buying a backpack. However, as I am in the process of nearing retirement I wanted something to take with me when hiking or camping. It would have to be big enough to hold my laptop and camera but light enough that when I wore it on my back it wouldn't feel like a pile of bricks.There are several backpack options on Amazon to choose from. I settled in on this particular backpack as I was curious about its included charging and listening ports. I'll talk more about those in a few moments.I was surprised to see that this backpack arrived in such a small box. When folded and stored it doesn't take up much space at all. It comes in its own zippered bag for which you can easily store and fold the backpack into when not in use.The backpack itself seems very well constructed and durable. It's made out of polyester fabric that is completely waterproof.My main purpose for needing a backpack is that I use my 15" MacBook Pro while on the road. When I am hiking or camping I need access to it. I also always bring a camera with me to take photos whenever the opportunity presents itself. The option of having storage for these items in addition to extra clothing, towels, and other necessities was a priority concern. I like the fact that instead of having to carry these things around, I can simply stuff them into a backpack and lug them around on my shoulders.While the backpack initially seems small, I was amazed to see just how much space is inside. It can easily fit an extra pair of clothes and shoes. At the same time, my MacBook Pro or iPad is securely stored in its own compartment. A velcro strap keeps them in place so they don't move while in transit. The inside is also minimally cushioned.There are zippers and pockets everywhere. An inner pocket across the front is perfect for pens, business and memory cards, eyeglass wipes and tissues. Along the side are mesh pockets that are great for a water bottle or even an umbrella.Along the back is a security pouch that you can drop your wallet or passport into. Since that pouch lies against your back it's pretty much protected from thieving hands.The one option that really attracted me to this product was the charging and listening ports. When you open the backpack you will notice a single cable that forks out into a USB and RCA cable. The RCA cable plugs into the headphone jack of your phone. This enables you to keep your phone or tablet inside your backpack. On the outside is a port that you simply plug your headphones into. The same cord with the USB plug is for a battery pack that you also keep stored inside the backpack. You simply plug your mobile device into the outer port where it will begin to charge.While I have yet to take this out on the road with me, I did try it on for size with a laptop and a few pieces of clothing and shoes inside. I was able to easily adjust the straps on my shoulders. Walking around, I felt that the backpack was secure and remarkably, wasn't too heavy. I was able to secure and remove it without any real effort.So far, I am very happy with this product. The backpack looks like it will survive many outdoor hikes and camping trips for years to come and that is very important to me.

Very nice backpack exactly what I expected when i got it. The contrasting interior color is very nice. It has good support/cushion and lots and lots of zipper storage. Good for a small backpack and can expand to fit a lot of different scenarios! The zippers and stiching are all nice and robust should be durable.

the backpack looks small but its pretty spacious and the backpack plugs are great not the cheap ones that you get from other backpacks my only complaint is that the front pocket and the second to front pocket are pretty tight when the main pocket is filled so it makes it hard to fit stuff in the front pockets. But in general it is a great backpack though the safe at night feature for some reason does not work for mine :D

I've been using the bag for a month now it's actually really good could be a bit bigger but I'm a college student that has to carry a lot of textbooks so thats just me charging port is in a good location and the chocolate interior is actually a great design color👍👍👍

I bought this for my teenage son, he likes the look and style. I thought the material was going to have a feaux leather look, but the material looks like something else (not really sure how to describe). Overall seems to be be good quality/well made, functional, sturdy, comfortable and stylish.

This is very nice bag. Mind you havent used the charging port in it yet but I used it on my trip to Alabama fit alot in it like laptop switch and many other things. Love it for the space even though it doesnt look like it does.

This was exactly what I needed as a secondary carryon bag. It had lots of room and lots of compartments.

Love the backpack! In an engineering student so mine is always full of books and my 15" laptop. Plenty of room. Doesn't feel like it's going ri break even when my back does.
