I purchased it on a whim because I didn't want to deal with caulk and it seemed easy to use
I'm going to start this with a 5 star rank. I just installed a new kitchen sink over the weekend and it fought me the entire time. It turns out the previous owners had also redone the sink and disposal at some point and had managed to do a lot wrong...all of which I ended up correcting as I discovered it. One bright spot I found in during the installation was this stuff. I purchased it on a whim because I didn't want to deal with caulk and it seemed easy to use. It was by far the easiest part of my installation, it goes on quick and stays put. The most useful part of this stuff was when I had to remove the sink after securing it first time because I needed the space to work on shortening my drain pipe (disposal drain was below the outlet). I didn't have to clean up any caulk, just loosened up my clips, popped the sink out and then dropped it back in and secured it when I was finished. So far the seal seems great and there are no leaks. I'll try and check back in a few years to report how it is holding up.

What a great idea!
I don't know why I've never seen these before. Seems like a great idea. It seals very well to an uneven surface like tile and grout and I like the fact that it doesn't glue the sink to the countertop like silicon sealer does. Even plumbers putty has it's limitations with a stainless steel sink because of expansion and contraction or the steel eventually leading to leaks around the rim of the sink.

This Product Has Potential
I'm a homeowner who installed a new kitchen sink, actually the 2nd one I've installed over the last 40 years. Many installers don't like to use caulk, me included. I like this product, since it's a clean install and caulk is not. When I received the product, much of the paper backing that's on the adhesive side had come off, so I believe the adhesive dried some. Because of this, I had to use and trim double-face adhesive tape on the curved corners of my sink to hold the gasket in place, so I could install it. Other than that, it seems to have sealed well.

Very effective seal
I had to separate the seal and use the "BEAD". I used double stick tape to hold it in place until I got the sink to seat. It works great & is not as messy as the popular alternative silicone

Attempted to use on a flush-mounted drop-in stainless sink, ...
Attempted to use on a flush-mounted drop-in stainless sink, but it didn't work well. Advertised as universal, but when used with a flush-mount, it will leave quite a gap around the rim. Ended up removing it and using standard silicone sealant instead.

This stuff is great and I am SO glad I found it
This stuff is great and I am SO glad I found it. It makes what is usually a pain in the bung hole an easy job. Nice clean install and no waiting around for the product to dry because it is already dry. Watch the Youtube video for installation process. It is really as easy to do as it looks on thevideo.Thank you SinkSeal!!!

Great job from a non caulker
I am a homeowner with mechanical skills, having tackled many plumbing, electrical, and mechanical projects. But, I have botched caulking time after time, so imagine eliminating that task by just positioning a "gasket" that compresses and seals!Follow the simple instructions for positioning, drop the sink in, and clamp it down.None of the angst of trying to deliver the artistry and difficulty of laying a perfect bead of caulk.Use the SinkSEAL and pat yourself on the back for a job well done! It's a no-brainer!
