This is the first time I do such a detailed review, hope is helpful for people looking for their next gift or purchase of recipe notebook.1. This recipe book is designed as a published book with a soft cover, numbered pages and even a designated area for an index.2. Found the columns for ingredients and directions somewhat small, but I’m using it for my busy lifestyle where I aim for recipes with less than 10 ingredients.3. The space for the picture of your completed and proved success with the execution of the recipe is about 3 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches.4. The recipe rating section let me color the stars accordingly for each family member, so I can add more than one family member with a colored line inside the stars.5. The notes section will let me add ideas on what other recipes pair good with it, as well as the source of the recipe and other useful details.6. At the top of each left page, after the name of the recipe, it can have a category: snack, appetizer, main course, desert and 3 more spaces.All pages have a busy background that kind of disappears when you fill the pages with handwriting, but gives a nice look to the empty ones.In my busy day-to-day, I like quick and easy. I like to plan my meals and grocery shopping. This book I can carry with me and choose from the day-to-day cooking, to meals for special occasions. Those recipes won’t go to the book until I already make them and know they turn out to be my favorites.I expect to be able to complete my book and after years of use, pass it to future generations.

I use this at least twice a week to write down the recipes I am constantly trying and love. I like the layout of this and the little extras they add like adding a photo, however I would love if the lines for ingredients would be a bit longer. I find that writing sometimes is that not that neat due to lack of space on the line. Still love it though.

The book is so cute and has everything shown in the pictures, plus some notes pages too. It’s smaller than I thought but it has a lot of recipe pages and my boyfriend loved it! Makes a great gift! The book showed up to my house with the top right corner bent and creased but I don’t think it was the fault of the seller but rather a fault occurring in shipment.

The lines to write on are not dark at all,(very light). But all in all it works. I just make the lines darker.

My teenage daughter had been wanting a recipe book for all her favorites that I make. This book was perfect size for her to start out with. It has an index in the front and the two-page layout for the recipes gives plenty of space for her to record the recipes and make notes. She loves the space allowed for adding pictures as well.

I love this little book. I am able to write all of my recipes that i love to male all the time. I like the note page so I can write about certain changes I made and liked. I wish the directions page was a little bigger.

Came as expected, very cute. Pages a little sheer, but hey it was inexpensive and worked for the purpose. Gave as a gift, hope they enjoy it!

Bought as a gift..was a huge hit for anyone who creates their own recipes or even to copy family recipes

Great layout with room for a title, ingredients, directions , photo and notes.You can also capture the type of dish, number of servings, prep time and cooking time.The book has four contents pages at the front.I’d say you can fit roughly 50 recipes in the book so there’s lots of space.At first glance the pages seemed a little thin but now I’ve written up my first recipe I feel reassured as it doesn’t show through the page.

Bon pour le prix C'était un cadeau et mon ami l'a aimé. Le livre est bon mais il y a très peu d'espace pour écrire la recette complète en détail. Il faudrait prévoir plus d'espace pour écrire les ingrédients et la méthode d'une recette.

Arrived promptly. Item matched description. Good to store own recipes. Would of prefered a wipe down cover /hardback to protect it but otherwise pleased
