I put a single drop of iodine, this specific type, into a drink of water, coffee, energy drink, etc. per day. It helps in Thyroid function according to a youtube video by Dr. Berg. I don't believe it will have a great effect either way, but with Thyroid, it seems this vital organ can easily go bad and I believe this helps avoid that situation. I am not a doctor or endocrinologist and this is a lay person's opinion only.

I haven't been taking this product more than a few weeks. The reason I purchased it is due to nodules on my thyroid. I am an RN and researched causes, symptoms, and treatments. I had gone on straight Sea Salt a few years ago and never bothered to read that it does not have iodine. Now that I know that information, I have decided to treat myself with Iodine supplement as well as a zinc supplement. I won't know for a year from now if I have helped myself, but I do know I feel better, no raspy voice, no problems swallowing. My thyroid was diagnosed by ultra sound and read by a radiologist and found to be benign, which most are. However, I don't want to take any chances. I also found out you cannot overdose on Iodine so I am doing 2 drops instead of one as the label recommends. I have also gone back to iodized salt. I will give a further update at a later time, but I can tell I feel a lot better. simply Iodine is pure, tastes pleasant, very easy to take, and ships quickly. I will be repurchasing and I will do follow-up reviews as I find improvements with my thyroid!!

I really liked this supplement by Simply You. I was using a different brand since cutting iodized salt from my diet because of some health concerns. But, I purchased Simply You's Melatonin and Chlorophyll supplement a few months back, and I became a fan of the liquid delivery system that I could take directly under my tongue. Or, just add it to my water bottle. Since using the product, I've noticed some excess weight came off after the first two weeks. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a benefit to using the product, but, I'll take it however I can get it as I get older.Also, I just got my bloodwork results back from my endocrinologist. And, all of my hormone levels were much better. So, I'm going to keep on taking it to see how my levels are affected after a few more months of regular use. I'd highly recommend the product based on my experience so far.

I have experienced low energy, dry skin, and dry eyes. I decided to give this iodine supplement a try and within a few weeks my energy levels were up and I feel great! The instructions indicate one drop in mouth daily. I was hesitant on the taste being problematic but that was not the case - no taste at all. It should last me quite sometime with approximately 1,300 drops per bottle. Great value for the money.
