Super Box 18" Plastic 5-Tier Shelf Storage Shelving

Easy to assemble - like LEGOs! Very sturdy.

This thing is solid, it does what it's supposed to do. Mine arrived with lots of small cracks and the plastic is broken off on some of the edges. The shelves are plenty strong enough to hold and I just wanted something to get my tools up off the ground so it's fine for me. But if you want something that's going to look nice this probably isn't it.

Broken on arrival...just as a bunch of previous reviews had said. Seems very, very brittle and any shipping bumps cause breakage. I'll see if I can fix it ....perhaps some kind of glue or tape or both...we'll see

The plastic pipes that support the shelves do not fit into the holes very well .Forced, slit ends, lubricated and quitI've assembled many of shelf systems like this and this is the first time that i have had this problem

I purchased the shelf recently. I bought it with the plan to use it to hold some tools and clutter in my man cave.First, you can't see it but the shelves themselves are thicker than you would think. I think they are about 4 inches thick. This allows them to have the bends and corrugation needed to support the amount of weight this say it will support. Of note, these are not solid plastic on the shelf part. I ended up putting some MDF on the middle shelf where I have some small items, and some tools.The box was in decent shape when it arrived, with one small ding. Nothing inside was damaged.This was very simple to assemble. Put a shelf down. Put in the 4 risers, Put the next shelf down on the risers, smack it together with the palm of your hand, put the next risers on... ectra.Moving the Shelf. Its Light weight. Its large enough to be bulky, but anyone can maneuver the thing around.Of note, this shelf has tabs on the side so you can purchase more than 1 shelf, and "buckle" them together for additional stability.Overall, the shelf is going to do just what I wanted, and I'd consider buying it again if I needed a 2nd shelf unit.

Sturdy and nice looking! Makes my shop look so much nicer!

I had previously bought one of these plastic units at a local hardware store for $35 and was very satisfied with it's quality, size, and the alleged heavy duty, sturdiness, and capacity to hold 175 lbs per shelf. I needed more, since I'm organizing my basement, so when I saw them on Amazon I didn't hesitate to order more. I was very excited to receive my units from Amazon, but when I opened the boxes to assemble the units all the shelves were broken from the top side of the box, so I had to return it to Amazon; the other box had only one broken shelf, so I decided to keep it since the broken pieces were not at a critical part that would affect functionality. They are very easy to assemble, all I needed was the rubber mallet. The bottom line is only time will tell if it can really hold a lot of weight without sagging in the middle. As far as buying these units again, I would only buy them again on sale around a $30 price, and ONLY at a LOCAL STORE, I WILL NEVER, EVER order them online again at any price. They are just OK, but I CAN NOT possibly give it 3 stars.

I purchased 2 of these shelves at a local 'big box' discounter recently. I have an extensive vintage music collection that consists of hundreds of albums (LP's), 45's, and 78's. I wanted to get them off the ground and out of old boxes. I used the lower 4 shelves to store all this music, but I am very concerned that the shelves will collapse one of these days! They seem cheap and flimsy, even without all those records on there! There is no rigidity and stability to the design. BUT, the insert that came with the shelving states that each shelf can hold 175 pounds, and that the total weight it can hold is 875 pounds! My guess is that I have about 150 pounds on each of the 4 lower shelves, and about 90 pounds on the top one. I am NOT confident in the least that these shelves will not ever collapse! If they do, my music collection will be largely ruined, as will my motorcycle and car, which are parked close to the shelves in my small garage. AND I have a 10 year old that plays in the garage at times! They should be made much sturdier, using thicker material that can withstand temperature swings over time. I am utterly dissapointed that I wasted around 80 bucks on this garbage!
