HMM Zoids 1/72 Ez-049 Berserk Fuhrer

This model is fantastic! I agree with what everyone else here has said; it's very detailed & the full articulation is great. He is top heavy, but a little fiddling with his feet & height fixes that. You can easily maneuver the Fury around to fit any position you're hoping for. If this is your first time building a model like this, or if you haven't done it in a while (like me), I'd recommend a well lit area and a large enough table to house all the parts on so you don't lose anything. Also, if you're super anal about any plastic shards from the removal of the parts, get some fingernail clippers - works great to get rid of any loose plastic chunks that would otherwise make the model unappealing to look at.In relation to the old mechanized Berserk Fury that I know I bought back in the 90's, this is a full scale model, not a model built around a motor. It can seem daunting at first glance, but if you just take your time and pay attention to what the pictures show, you'll be fine. All instructions are in Japanese, but the picture instructions are very easy to follow.It took me about 7 hours to put together from start to finish, but I'm sure more proficient model builders could complete the Fury much faster.All in all, I would definitely recommend getting this model. It was loads of fun to put together and looks great next to my old EZ-049 Berserk Fuhrer model. I'm super glad I got it, and you will too if you're a fan of the show!

Zoid lovers will really appreciate this model. As with other HMM Zoids, this is a build-it-yourself plastic kit. It comes with all the parts, and no glue or paint is required. It's a blast to build, and the picture instructions are fairly easy to follow. Obviously, this model was not designed as a small child's toy, so some parts are delicate and fragile.The finished model itself is quite impressive; from head to tail, it's almost a foot and a half long. Also, as the pictures indicate, the attention to detail is fantastic. While the plastic parts make some joints stiff and difficult to move, keep in mind that this model was designed to allow a large variety of different poses and positions, which in turn means sturdy joints need to be sturdy to help the model stay in place. All in all, 5/5. Was fun to build, and now sits proudly on my shelf. If you love Zoids, then I would highly recommend this Berserk Fury model.

Oh man.... where do I start. This is easily my favorite zoids hmm kit I've ever built. I've always loved the liger zero, and bit cloud was a huge influence on my personality growing up, but this kit takes the cake. It not only dwarfs my beautiful liger, but the quality and durability of it far exceeds any other kit I've built. Like any kit, obviously you have to be careful (These aren't toys), but the feel of this thing is rock solid. I have yet to paint or glue any of my kits, but this one really needs none of either. Absolutely beautiful.

My personal favourite from the Zoids HMM series, incredible amounts of movement with arms, legs, tail, head etc. You can also take the lavender armour off for his raw black form, which shows alot of the gears, cables and tubind detailing the zoid. the only issue, is that hes quite heavy and the legs bend down and most of the time hes in a crouching position, but every other part of his body sits relatively solidly. so much fun to put together, a good 6-8 hours work, parts fit perfectly.

This is a great sturdy model of the Berserk Fuhrer (or Fury) and the best one out on the market if you want this Zoid. Excellent details, very good engineering so it comes together securely and without having pieces like the skeleton or armor falling or popping off after you assemble it.It is pretty sturdy for the most part except for the pair of "Buster Claws" which are the Two 3-Blade thingies mounted on actuator arms on the Berserk Fuhrer's backpack. Due to the way the plastic pieces go together you will get some floppy blades and some solid joint ones that will hold its pose/angles. In addition they are not entirely symmetrical so if you are picky about the Buster Claws not looking crooked it can be very annoying (easier to see it up close and in person).The legs too, though very tough and detailed have pretty weak joints because it's plastic on plastic or plastic on soft polycaps that don't have much friction so your poor Zoid T Rex can and will collapse under its own weight because the leg joints don't have enough strength to hold the pose. The polycaps are a pain too because they don't always fit flush in the plastic slots or seats and when you press the plastic halves together they will shift just 0.3-0.5mm and assembled pieces to open up a bit so you get a gap later... even after using cement to reinforce it.Even though this kit is "Snap Together" and "no glue required" you really should use Plastic Cement because this model will fall apart and make lots of annoying plastic creaking sounds every time you handle it- then parts pop off and joined halves will break.Other than the points above this kit is excellent quality and on par with the best Master Grade gundam kits out there. The finished result is beautiful and worth the wait- but I have to subtract at least 1 Star because of the weak leg joints and having to use a stand as a crutch for the poor T Rex, and also for the annoying mis-fitting due to the polycaps not going into the plastic slots where they should be, they deform too.This kit deserves 3.5 Stars in my opinion but the positives are enough that I will give it a 4 instead of a 3.Huge Positive that made me lean towards 4 instead of 3: The Skeleton of the Berserk Fuhrer is nearly perfect in the assembly and finished product. Very solid and cleverly designed so it isn't an annoying fidgety lump of plastic- looks great without armor on and can stand on its own weight when in the nude.Just remember: Use PLASTIC CEMENT, Use Good Snips and maybe a small sanding file to remove imperfections that prevent the plastic from fitting together, Watch those Damn Polycaps because they suck, and reinforce leg joints with some coating to increase friction or get a stand to put under this model so it can stand up without collapsing on its weight.

Excellent product. Everything fits together very well (not counting a few of the tiny translucent pieces that aren't worth noticing) and it has a surprisingly large range of motion, especially without the armor. It'll also take plenty of time to build and feels worth the effort when finished.

Absolutely flawless! Looks great without any paint and hold together very well without glue. Very posable from tail to head, and even the weapon.

it was what i wanted, came to me vary fast and the news paper in the box was a fun read as much as i could understand anyway.

ジェノブレイカーの次に作成しました。一言で言うと非の打ち所が見当たらないキットです。個人的にバーサークフューラーはあまり好きなゾイドでは無かったんですが、こちらのレビューで高評価だったのと、価格が半額位で買えたのでどんなもんかな。と思ってました。まず、外装の成型色がカッコ良い！パッケージを開けた瞬間｢おお！！｣と声を上げました。真っ白だとばかり思ってたのが薄紫の渋い色味。俄然、作成意欲が湧きウキウキと頭部から。。ビックリするほど作りやすい！本当にジェノブレイカーと同じシリーズなのか？と思う程に作成行程が簡略化されています。一番感動したのは胴体の二重関節！！この関節と首の関節により顔を真横に向ける事が出来ます！それが全く不自然じゃない！恐竜映画に出てくるティラノサウルスさながらの躍動感溢れるポーズがこんな簡単な行程で実現できる事に心底驚き、感心しました。ジェノブレイカーの次に作成したから尚更かもしれませんが、本当に半分位の時間で作成できました。また、ポリパーツを各所に使われているので、柔軟性も抜群で色々なポーズをストレスなく付けられます。両足のパーツは接地性もあり、二足ゾイド特有のぐらつきもほぼありません。定価でも満足行くキットですが、ほぼ半額で買えて本当にラッキーでした。ぶっちゃけ、モルガの方が難易度高いかも、、素晴らしいプラモデルに出会えて感謝です！

このネーミング考えた人間のセンスが素晴らしい。名前だけで買える。だが、一連の騒ぎもあり値段が高騰してるようなので購入は少し考えて欲しい。
