DSPIAEMT-C 2.0 Stepless Adjustment Circular Cutter (1mm - 50mm)

The assembly is fairly simple if you look closely at the pictures. Also READ the instructions on how to properly use it. It is a well made, high quality, precision instrument and it takes a little PRACTICE. The cutting blades have to have the proper spring pressure depending on the thickness and material being cut. Using the correct blade helps. Make sure the blade is seated properly. I'm a model maker and will cut masking film, card stock, paper and sheet plastic. Each of these uses a different blade. It will cut plastic up to .4mm thick which is the thickest I ever use. I use Evergreen sheet plastic. Usually I do two or three rotations to ensure a perfect cut all the way through the material. The diameter is easy to set exactly as desired. It just takes a little patience and always make a test cut first. This tool is designed for extremely precise work and demands to be be used properly. The circle in the center (the donut hole) as well as the outside can be used, depending on need. Both will have sharp, defined cuts and the center will NOT have a pin hole like a traditional circle cutter. If you are a serious hobbyist, this is an excellent tool that should last a lifetime. It weighs 14 oz. and has a rubber base so it will stay secure as you cut. It will make circles 1mm to 50mm in diameter. As a modeler I can cut masks for instrument gauges on aircraft even at 1/72 scale.

I had originally bought it to cut masking tape for painting.However, did not work well on masking tape, but worked well on card stock.

Solid construction and well worth the money. Buy it once, buy it right - should last a lifetime if you take care of it. Only 4 stars cause they really need to work on their instructions. Had to go to an independent you tube video to figure out how to assemble - but now the it's assembled really easy and intuitive to use. Great breadth of products from this Brand.

Used for cutting circles in masking tape and cutting out circular DIY decals. High quality, ease of use. However the center locator tool is a must, Dspiae MT-CL. One big downfall of the Dspiae tools are their prices but then again you get what you pay for.

I purchased this circle cutter to cut various sized circles for masking. It took 12 days to arrive from overseas, the tracking and shipping were excellent. The manufacture quality was very good and is highly adjustable for the circle size. I would recommend this cutter to anyone with the need to cut variable circles.

This little Gadget makes the perfect circles.

The pics in the description show 3 blades. I only received 1. I had planned on using it often when I build models. But with 1 blade and no instructions. I may throw it away and find something else. To the manufacturer: Do better than this!
