Excellent drive enclosure with only three small drawbacks
The drive itself performs admirably - read/write time is exactly what you would expect of a 3.1 connection - quite handy to have a drive that you can just sling into your bag and go - external materials are durable in precisely the way you want them to bea few small glitches:(1) getting the drive seated feels a bit perilous given the relatively delicate board connections and slotting it into place is not at all intuitive (but once it's there - it is just steady as a rock)(2) the attached cable is a giant pain to get loose - it feels like there could have been a little more latitude in getting a durable reliable cable that is also somewhat easy to access(3) with the screws and the delicacy of seating the drive, this is not an enclosure to use if you intend to be swapping drives on a routine basis or need to do so quickly

Missed opportunity
This is a missed opportunity for the company to make a really nice product. The design is very nice. It is a durable rugged design but it is made of cheap plastic. It could have been made of aluminum and it would be much stronger. The cable being integrated into the device is both a good thing, and a bad thing. The problem with it is if it goes faulty, you canโt replace it. Then, you have a hard drive that you need to put in a whole new enclosure instead of just getting a new cable. The shock resistance of the case seems to be very good. It is nice and light, and was not too hard to install.

Mediocre quality
There are a bunch of fake hex screws on the top to make it look tough but in reality the case is closed by 6 small screws that go into plastic and seem easily strippable which makes me dubious on the waterproof claim. It feels cheaply made and the plastic case flexes a lot which isn't necessarily bad but adds to the low quality impression. The shock-proofing seems more than adequate and I would actually prefer a slightly smaller enclosure that was more robustly sealed than the extra attention to shock. The rubber that the usb cable sits in is also pulling away from the body in a way that looks cheap. As long as it works well I think I will keep it but overall I am very disappointed.Update: After installing the hdd and screwing it together I can hear air going in and out as I squeeze it so there is no way it is waterproof. I am probably sending it back at this point.

Pretty rugged so far, but not and easy swap
Installation was a bit if a pain with 4 tiny screws, but they do provide a screwdriver. I didn't seat the hard drive in there correctly the first time and thought it didn't work. This isn't really meant for easily swapping out a bunch of SSDs like I hoped, but it is pretty rugged so far. My friend got the same one, and I witnessed him drop it. Both his and mine are still working fine.

Rebranded with a sticker. Seems sketchy.
Typical quality for a cheap case. Should do the job, but itโs rebranded from blaze drive with a sticker. Just buy the original from ineo....

Could not read HDD or be fully recognized with PC
Drive was fully functional, formatted, etc. but when hooked up to this particular external enclosure multiple errors ensued regardless of the PC it was connected to.
