Tea leaks from the joints.
There is a space left between two hemispheres after closing. Tea leaves can come out from that space. Please refer to the attached image.

a must have product in your kitchen
my wife accidentally spotted the product on amazon and now we have been using it continuously for past three weeks almost thrice a day (we are avid tea drinkers). i was apprehensive that the metal will change colour or get rusted at the hinge, clasp or chain. happy to report that nothing of this sort happened. it remains as shiny as when bought. pure stainless steel product. one basket takes about three fully filled tea spoons (you need to leave some space for the leaves to absorb water and swell up. Luckily we had ordered two baskets and it meets our requirement. Overall, a fantastic product. go for it.

Awesome product, good quality and finish easy to use
Its good quality steel and easy to use and clean. The mesh is fine so green tea dust wont get settled in your tea. I am totally loving this.

Not useful, holes not small enough
The product looks good and quality is good too. But main issue is the holes are not very small and so some tea dust escapes it and ends up in the mug. So overall not useful as I have to filter again.

Great infuser for brewing teas! Definitely get this one for a cuppa
Being a Calcuttan and growing up amidst Darjeeling teas, it is but imperative I grew up to be a tea enthusiast. This infuser is perfect for a cup of tea. The quantity of loose leaves you can fill in is enough for two cups light brew. Cleaning is easy, you got to let it dry up a little and once the leaves are drier, its easier to clean. Do not scrub the mesh or you will spoil the infuser. Be gentle! The metal handle that allows you to open the tea infuser is quite sturdy - get this most definitely if you are a tea lover.Extremely happy with the product.

A good product that removes the irritation of tea dust collected at the bottom of the cup
It is a very useful product considering that the tea powder or leaves at the bottom of your tea cup irritates you. After inserting into boiling water, it upper half floats but still gives room for the tea leaves to mix with water. Build is good.

Not good; buying something else
Even semi large herbal tea leaves (not dust) leaking from gap (very thin gap but even then) tween the two meshes. If the tea is of the kind that uses whole leaves that unfurl on steeping, only then can this infuser be used. The pics have been taken after an hour of settling tea leaves. Just not possible to drink even now as lots of floaters.

Perfect for small to medium quantities of tea
Fits nicely inside small tea cup as well as big coffee mug. Can be dipped in larger container also. Can make tea up to 3-4 people (depending on the quality of the leaves used). Mesh size small, so crushed leaves do not come out. Easy to clean.
