Today I received my Javontec USB C to Ethernet and 3 Port USB 3.0 Hub. I immediately connected to my laptop and it seamlessly connected and activated all 3 USB ports. I tested the USB ports with a USB 3.0 flash drive and it was super fast and easy. No additional configuration was required. It was simple plug and play. I also tested the ethernet adapter and it too worked flawlessly. Again, not configuration was required. Thanks for the prompt shipment and smooth operating USB-C tool.

This was a pleasant surprise. I had tried several similar products, but found they were either intermittent, or disabled the WiFi function on my 2017 MacbookPro. I was prepared for the same experience with this unit. Surprisingly, every function performed as specified and there was no problem with the WiFi, even when additionally using the wired ethernet.The unit is house in an attractive well made aluminum case, not cheap plastic. The activity lights are a nice bonus.Packaging was excellent and the included carrying pouch was a nice surprise. At this point I am totally satisfied.

Well constructed with classy packaging and a nice cloth carrying bag. Tested data transfer from a USB 3.0 Gen 1 flash drive and speeds were equal to a transfer of the same file done directly through my Acer laptop's local 3.0 Gen 1 port. Similarly, I compared an ethernet connection, maxing out at 235gb/s on my local NIC card, the adapter maxed out at 233gb/s, likely due to fluctuations from the ISP.Overall under average usage, it works just as well as onboard IO.

JAVONTEC USB-C Network Lightweight Adapter.It arrived the day after I ordered it in great shape. I was impressed from the very start in the quality of the box it arrived in. Upon opening the box the contents surprised me in the quality, including sturdiness and the accompanying carrying case. When I plugged the unit into my laptop it worked great. i really liked this item initially.. no issues with the Ethernet... didn't use the USB for data transfer so cant comment on that. what issue i had was i attached a wireless usb adapter for keyboard and mouse.. for some reason, the keyboard would lose total connection, while the mouse still seemed to work. the work around to this is removing the usb adapter and reinserting it.. but in due time the keyboard signal drops again... not a keyboard batter issue. I was using a 2019 MacBook Pro i9

Like the USB 3 + ethernet features all in one, saves backpack space. Was pleased with metallic construction giving the product some rigidity. Promptly loaded it up by using Disk Utility on the Mac to zero out two USB thumb drives while browsing the internet, and it multi-tasked like a champion, no perceivable network slow down.

I shopped around for something for my HP Chromebook X2. Wanted ethernet and a usb port for older memory dongles..hooked this up to a cable, immediate ethernet connection to my router. Plugged in a memory stick, and up it comes.. Time will tell as many reviewers say they start to fail after a month or so.. I hope not.
