My mother-in-law came to visit us, & noticed how many humming birds we have flying all around. She took bought a couple humming bird feeders for us to hang on our patio. Though we have a pretty great view, so I didn't want these humming bird feeders hanging down from the roof, blocking or distracting our views.This product is GREAT because I could easily fasten it to our patio railing & get it to the height I wanted it, where we could still see it, but it wouldn't block our views. It's fantastic. The humming birds really seem to love it as well.Oh! Also, another plus point about this product that I hadn't even realized when I bought it... we get a good breeze coming in on our patio, which if we'd hung the humming bird feeder from the roof, they would have been blowing all about & potentially spilling the sugar water all over. With this product, it's super stable so the feeder doesn't blow around much, even on windy days. Plus it hangs off the side of the house... so even if it did spill (which it never has) it wouldn't get on my patio.I highly recommend!

Exactly what I needed for my new deck to hang things from. Nothing would fit on the railings due to the curavture of them. This is the perfect solution. Installs in minutes and very sturdy.

Purchased a few of these hooks for tenants to use on an upper porch railing. Prior to installation of this hook, the tenants hung plants at odd angles off the railing, which I felt would lead to damage. This hook attaches easily, without damaging the porch railing. It offers strong support for hanging pots. Recommend the product.

I got these for my bird feeders to hang outside over the railings. I have a metal wire deck railings so the conventional clamps do not work and I found these so they can be fasten on one of the support metal square posts under the banister. So it barely extends above the top of the banister so when I put the bird feeder on there, the banister of the railing blocks the view of the feeder.
