I've seen these hair straightening brushes all over so I got sucked into the hype of them & figured it was time to try one out. You'll see tons of listings all over on Amazon for what appears to be the same exact brush as this one so I opted to purchasing one of the cheapest ones that had free Prime shipping. I only paid $19.It does work. I can say that. Is it better than my flat iron? No. You can get closer to the hair with a flat iron. You're technically smushing the hair between the plates with a flat iron, so of course you're going to get a straighter, sleeker look. But, this works. It did straighten my wild-after-blow-dried hair pretty nicely. I could live with it if it was all that there was available & if I didn't have a great Chi flat iron, but I do, so I think I'll stick with using it instead.The straightener brush is a little heavy, but not overly, & the placements of the buttons is very inconvenient because as you're using it you keep hitting them & changing temperatures. It does heat up quickly though & it seems pretty safe. I did my daughter's hair as well as mine a few different ways, brushing over & under, & never managed to burn myself.For $19 I'd say it was worth it unless you're used to a smooth, sleek, super flat style that you get from a flat iron. This will give you straight locks with a little volume still.

I wanted something for my mother who has arthritis. Something fast. Maybe it works for someone who has thin fine hair. I personally like my hair straight with no bumps. (I use an iron up to 455°) Now this product doesn't iron "straight" like a flat iron. You have to comb the hair in sections and run it through the hair several times. This probably is good for touch-ups but for me personally I wouldn't bother. Would I recommend this.... probably not. But it could work for my mother who can touch up her hair when I'm not around to straighten for hair.

It works ok, but if ur natural its not going to get ur hair straight. It only makes the hair manageable.

Great product . Loved this product as it works wonders on my hair . And the best part is I don think am straightening my hair instead I feel like am combing my hair with a bit heavier comb. It makes my hair look so soft and smooth. And you don't have to spend a day for straightening your hair , it just takes 30 mins for me to straighten it and make it wavy at the edges. I don like it be straight like a stick so I would prefer it to be bit curly at the ends. Its even helps with making waves. So definitely recommend this product

I am a very skeptical online shopper- I read reviews for everything! With that being said- I love this straightner! I don't know why anyone would pay the outrageous prices these go for when you could get it on here for this cheap! It works amazingly and I have recommended it to friends. I can't imagine going back to a regular straightner.

I enjoyed the brush, but it quit working after my second use. The temperature buttons are easy to accidentally press, but I was willing to deal with it for the convenience of a quick straightening job. I docked two stars simply because it stopped working. It does the job otherwise.Update September 12, 2016: The company contact me and let me know that I must have received a defective product and sent a replacement. Unfortunately, it completely went over my head that my original purchase had been sent to my old apartment, from which I'd just moved not long after receiving the defective one.A+ customer service, so if you do have a problem, please contact them. They will sort it out!

I use this everyday and love it! I gave it 4 stars because they made a design flaw. They positioned the power button where you hold it. Other than that ,no issues. Heats quickly, has not hurt my hair, shuts off automatically if left on. I have straighter hair, so I use it to help style it and get the slight wave out of my hair in spots. Not sure how it would work on very curly hair.

Very nice to make my hair soft I would get it again at a lower price
