I really...really...really LIKE these suspenders, but on my 5'7" frame they really are ill-fitting. As someone has stated previously, the joiner in the back (although REALLY COOL) is at my upper back and actually creates a buckling effect because it is designed to fit mid-back to between the shoulder blades. It does hold up my pants and I LOVE the variety of fasteners along with the quality of this product, but they are adjusted so much that there is a long flap of leftover leather that constantly flaps and causes the straps to not lay completely flat. I am still trying to decide if I can live with this or need to return them. I am disappointed there is not a smaller version.

I really really want to *love* these.They are "gentlemen's suspenders." Think Hemmingway an alcoholic storyteller, not Roosevelt (and don't even ask me which Roosevelt).The fashion is good, the form is functional, but I wouldn't call them "rugged" and they're definitely not "workhorse" suspenders. Don't get them to hold up a tactical or carpenter's belt.First impression after receiving them tonight says 4.5 stars, tho.1. Real leather 👍2. I'm 69.5" tall and typically wear a 32" inseam. At the shortest adjustment, these sag and the front elastic doesn't even pull. I'll get my leather punch and make a couple more holes in each strap...the probably cut off the straps so they don't hang down past the hardware. 👍 I personally like having extra material, and if you can afford $45 suspenders, you can go to a shoe repair shop and have them cut to size for you if needed. Or buy your own tools, a punch/awl and exacto knife come in handy!3. The tail of the front straps - if you're short toso'd like me - will cover the elastic, giving you a 100% leather look.4. Oddly, if you're short like me, you can fasten the front strap in 2 places, one at the top for height adjustment and one at the bottom where the fastner hardware is attached. This forms a nonelastic path parallel to the front elastic. while this completely hides the front elastic for a "hey I'm all leather!" look, I'm afraid this puts all the stretch on the single elastic in the back which is not exactly beefy.

These are pretty great. Ive been looking for a more finished look for suspenders over the normal elastic band style. These are a great combo of leather and elastic. Mostly leather, with each end having a elastic band so that the suspenders can stretch and move with you, despite the leather parts.My only complaint so far, is the little bands that hold back the extra leather near the size adjustment. They fall down a lot because they are not very tight.Overall, for the cost, these are great!

These are great suspenders. Relatively soft leather. Clips are better than snaps, I suspect, and that‘s what I‘ve been wearing. So good that I bought another pair, in white leather. Wish they had dark blue! I am 6‘2“ and able to wear them at their longest, and that smoothes out the leather. With clips, I can‘t see much that could go wrong. And there are leather button holders too, in case I sew buttons into trousers, or use them with a tuxedo, which is quite likely.

As far as leather suspenders go, this one is a good buy. Only caveat is the finish work is just so so. Price point a bit high, but better than the outrageous over $125 mark equal in quality.

Suspenders look like they will be nice. However, the presentation in the box without any wrapping was a little disappointing for an item of that expense. Also there was no instructions on how to use accessories. This is my first purchase of suspenders.

Bought these for my husband for our wedding. He’s worn them 3 other times since. They are beautifully made and really great quality. I love how they look!
