I like the format of the book. It has tasks for each month and very specific details for us that live in the Pacific Northwest. From planning where to put your garden to crops and then why the task are completed. Very good book to start gardening - to under the concepts of gardening

Informative, great format, and concise....

Use this bad boy on an at least monthly basis. Great reference for people gardening in the Pacific Northwest and addressing the unique challenges and timing of the region. So good that I bought one for my friend’s birthday.

The book definitely provides some knowledge but I found it difficult to put into practice in the pacific northwest climate. It has a lot of information that pretty generic and applies to gardening anywhere but only few information what to do specifically in PNW.

This will be my third time purchasing this book. I wear them out! Excellent garden resource for maritime Northwest (we live next to salt water). For planning your your garden, the resources for improving your soil, charts when to start seeds inside or crop rotation. Excellent resource at your fingertips!
