A great drone for the beginner. I was advised to purchase this drone for practice purposes by a member of "MasterYourDrone" organization. Very stable, easy to operate and not as expensive as the other drones that are very popular and not so easy to operate. I recommend this drone to anyone who's just getting started in the drone industry to buy this first before buying an expensive drone as your beginner drone

The remote in this package is a T1s and not compatible with the Tello. The T1D has not been discontinued . Company has not answered my requests.

Overall an excellently priced drone and controller package (assuming you have a phone that can handle all the heavy lifiting). There is a lot you phone has to handle to make this drone work. It requires you to only use the WiFi connection for the drone command link/video feed (you cannot be connected to the internet during flight) and bluetooth for the (optional) controller. The controller is a must have for anything more than casual flight but it most certainly works with just a phone.The software is solid but needs more polish. I've tried this drone with both a galaxy S7 and S9 and the S7 was a more stable platform with less bugs compared to the S9. The S9 has an issue getting the bluetooth to link to the drone app for some reason but with some fiddling it will work consistently but, the instructions defintaly need to be updated to account for the the strange behavior the app exhibits during the bluetooth linking process to the controller.Overall range is 10 meters in altitude and distance is dictated by how strong your WiFi connection from the drone to your phone is.Overall construction is fantastically sturdy for what it is. I've taken a few good wall knocks and crashes and it still jumps up and flies every time! Props are surprisingly strong which defitnalty makes this a great drone for beginners.One minor gripe I experianced was not receiving the extra propellers that were supposed to come with the kit. Need to contact the seller and will update as that progresses.Battery is about 15-20 min of indoor flying and about 10-15 min in high winds outdoors. Definitely get the 3 pack of batteries because charge time is kinda slow. Also the 3 gang charge they send with the combo kit is a SEQUENTIAL charger so you can put all 3 batteries in it but only one battery charges at a time BUT you can charge one battery in the drone and one in the charge cradle if you need to get air borne as fast as possible.Camera video is also stellar! The static photos are amazingly good for the price and while the video is very usable it can suffer depending on the WiFi chip in your phone. FYI there is no mic with the drone for audio recording.BIG NOTE THAT SHOULD BE UP FRONT. The drone when it's on MUST have the props spinning to keep the electronics cool! If you let it sit without the props turning the control board on the bottom of the drone gets quite hot and will cause a shutdown if you don't keep air moving around the drone.Can't state this enough this is a good starter drone for the price and could be amazing if DJI can fix the phone app issues and improve the overheating issues.

If you are looking for your first drone this is it! Easy to fly and really good interface on the app.

Very easy drone to fly. Takes little time and skill to use for taking aerial video and pictures or just learning how to fly. Very Decent video with electronic image stabilization, as long as good signal is maintained between the drone and phone/tablet. All media is saved onto the phone as the drone itself doesn't have a memory card slot to save to.Fight times are good, between 8 and 15 minutes, Temperature plays big into this. Having 3 batteries on hand to use is very nice.Only a couple issues so far. one being the sensors that detect its movement from the ground are very light sensitive and don't work great in soft light or low light.The second issue is the drone can get hot and will shut down at times. When this happens you get a warning on screen saying that its overheating and will shut down soon. Haven't had this happen to me in mid flight only as its just landed or when its turned on and sitting for a couple minutes.would buy again!

the Drone itself was good.... first drone ever so learning curb. but as soon as you know to connect it to your phone its a breeze..... Suggest you definitely get it with the remote I tried flying it with just the app and it was way easier with the remote..... I returned mine do to the low quality on the camera..... some how ended up buying a Mavic Pro Plantinum lol.....

Great seller, fun drone. Basically indestructible as far as crashes go, a ton of fun.

also will not connect to my ps3 as stated it would.
