Helios Tool 1000 Lumen Portable LED Work Light with Magnetic Swivel Ends

This light comes with batteries pre-installed. Taken straight out of the box, it did not work -- completely dead. There are no instructions (and none should be needed anyway). I checked for a dielectric insert in the battery compartment that might need to be removed. Found none. I spun the batteries in place that I could get to in order to ensure good contact -- still dead. I removed the original batteries and replaced them with a new set (6 AAs). It worked. I removed the new batteries and replaced them with the originals, and it worked. The original batteries were inserted properly -- that wasn't the problem. I have no idea why the light didn't work initially, but it seems fine now. I'm deduction one star for the hassle.**update** After months, the light has had no problems. It is sturdy and rugged. It is very bright. Wish I could give it 5 stars, but I can't honestly do that, given the initial problem. I'm impressed enough, though, that I'm going to try the rechargeable version.

I like it. It is big but bright. The magnets can swivel in any direction you want so if you have a big metal object to stick it to you can adjust it to shine in any direction. The two hooks are nice to hang it.

Poor quality product. Very disappointing. Such a complete waste of time and money.

Best damn light ever. Magnets work well too. I use in my covered truck bed.

Really like this light come with non rechargeable batteries. I knew that before purchasing tho. On low seems to last almost 12 hours. Need to grab rechargeable batteries. Great for weekender
